He swore on his hearts he wasn't going to go back to Earth for a while. He was fine traveling on planet to planet, chasing nebulas, helping others around. The Doctor regenerated what felt like not too long ago but, it has been about 200 years in terms of his lifespan he has stepped foot on Earth. And the Earth will always be defended by him but after he essentially bribed his last companions to stop traveling with him, for their safety and for his, he had to take a moment for himself and the planet one could call a third home to the Time Lord.
And then as soon as he had done that, he gets gravely injured and regenerated into this body. His stature isn't as tall as his previous faces. His hair is raven-coloured and there's an attempt of a style to it but, it is much more unruly than before. His eye colour is an emerald shade who has seen many lives and deaths. He decides to wear a black button down t-shirt, revealing the amount of tattoos (and some faded scars) along his forearms that were regenerated onto him. He wore a red tie and black slacks and black Trainers. He decides for the jacket to wear white. He can't be fully monochromatic either. He grabs his psychic paper as well as his sonic, redesigned in a silver, blue, and emerald colour scheme, as he walks back to the console room.
The TARDIS lands in an alleyway. The Doctor pokes his head out, listening and breathing in the atmosphere. Passing cars, people talking and laughing, the normalcy of human life on Earth. He allows a relieved smile on his face as he steps out and locks his ship.
As soon as he begins to walk out of the alleyway, he sees someone ( @vcrtexed ) running on the street. He doesn't allow himself the recognition of the blonde woman, he doesn't know if his hearts could handle it if he is wrong or that if he is now in a form of a damnation after regenerating, but he decides to follow her from a distance to see where she's running to.
