The entire downstairs was filled with both helium and non-helium balloons, to the point that you could hardly move without popping one or walking face first into a dangling string. Lilo didn’t have many friends, but she definitely went all out for the ones she did have. Vanellope was her best friend and favorite person tied with her siblings, basically an extension of her ohana, so there was no way she was going to let her birthday go by without going all out. She’d spent all of the money she had -- which admittedly, wasn’t much to begin with -- on the decoration, food and gifts for this two person party, but it was worth every cent.
She was more excited than she’d ever been for her own birthday as she awaited Van’s arrival. She barely even let her step through the door before she was throwing fistfuls of confetti and glitter on her, screaming out the lyrics to the traditional happy birthday song.

If there were an emotion called “watching,” that’s probably how Tink would feel most of the time. Always and forever has she and will she continue to opt for the sidelines when the choice is presented-- with certain exceptions, of course. It’s not that she doesn’t like the attention; in truth, Tink thrives on that kind of thing. But from certain people only, and always on her own terms. In public and social situations, she finds herself with a lot less control over how and when the attention and affection comes, and, as quiet and seemingly awkward as she already is, this never fails to lead to uncomfortable situations in which she is by far the most uncomfortable person of all.
It’s easier for her to just sit and watch. When she goes undetected, she retains the ability to insert herself into conversations she actually wants to be a part of. Which isn’t most. But that’s what she’s doing now: watching. The palm of her left hand cupping her chin, her elbow propped on a tiny round table, her legs tucked under the stool she’s sitting on. From her vantage in this part of the arcade, she can see most of the games-- most of which are sitting lonely with their blue and yellow and green lights flashing, hoping to lure in a player. Tink is uncompelled by any of them. But towards the far right corner she sees one game with a happy occupant: some brown-haired girl hunched over the controls, her body blocking the screen but her hands working like mad. Tink pops a few pub fries into her mouth and munches, watches, her interest piqued.
biggest regret?
“hmm... i guess my biggest regret is not being closer with elsa for a larger portion of my life. i mean, i’ve been a living, breathing person for 18 entire years, and we’re only getting close now! what have we missed out on? but i know that things happen and now that we’re close we have our whole lives to get even closer, so i guess if that’s my biggest regret it’s not so bad.”

Whenever Stitch is in a rut, one of the ways that picks him up is talking to Lilo. She always knows the best ways to cheer him up or calm him down. She is the first person he goes to when he needs someone to talk to. And they usually just sit around listening to Elvis.
