Ars Goetia Demons:
1. Demon King Baal/Bael.
Once a powerful and beautiful god of fertility, he was stripped of his power, seen as a symbol of paganism. He commands 66 legions of demons officially, but has about 90 more of his own creation, grown from his very own seeds. He speaks in a hoarse voice and often sounds ill, but is fully obedient to his conjurer (provided that they have drawn the correct seal) and is capable of granting them invisibility and the ability to understand the thoughts of animals. At the cost of this, the conjurer must consume one of his heads (which will grow back, in time). They are said to taste foul and oddly meaty, with each head giving a different sensation to the person eating it.
I really enjoyed designing Baal. Researching gourds was an eye-opening experience. They come in all sorts of beautiful shapes and colours! I hope you like the Gourdfather as much as I do, he means well.
