I mean, on the one hand I thought River Song had a full, complete character arc long before she was (mostly) done appearing on the show, but on the other hand, show us that (possibly awkward) meeting between the two wives!
Doesn’t really need a continuation of the story of River though. Just some like concrete, not once and done, recognition of this fact of the two Ladies of Time Who Are Married.

On one hand I personally would love not to be reminded of Moffat reign again, on another, Big Yes. Doctor and River are married and we really need this recognised now that Thirteen is a woman.

IDK if that’s a good or bad thing lol But tbh it’s really all I’ve been thinking about. River was the only ‘non-companion’ character I gave much of a shit about (after the Master but tbh the Master is his own li’l category anyhow so) and I’ve always cared. And I think it’s important especially given how people tend to cling to other chars for representation but River is kinda super big on a scale the other rep isn’t on.
But I know Alex Kingston has expressed an interest and her work w/ Discovery of Witches wouldn’t really get that in the way of filming. Even though the first season w/ 13 is done (being written anyways) that doesn’t mean anything about the rest of the run.
