A Wednesday evening in Los Gatos for another Jazz in the Plaz, and this time I did my best to go Bay Area local with my beers.... well, in actuality it looks like I ended up going continental... which is definitely not local. A beer I just had to buy was this light & easy (4.7%) citrus fruity Vacation Dad Dry-hopped Summer Ale by Perennial Artisan Ales (looked like a CA vacation label, but it was from St. Louis, MO, with Motueka, Amarillo, Citra hops). And then there was this fresh (canned on 01 July ‘19) nice and fruity tropical fruity Vasco Juice IPA with “loads of Cashmere & Mosaic” (yum!) by Altamont Beer Works (Livermore, CA; yes, finally local!). Later, after returning home, I pulled out another beer, this time an 8% DIPA with another name I couldn’t pass up, a rich and fruity green resin hoppy Did We Just Become Friends? (referring to the successful use of both Amarillo and Simcoe hops) by Hoof Hearted Brewing (brewed and canned by Great South Bay Brewery, Bay Shore, NY). ...Still enjoying all the IPA’s.
