VARIMARI.
my crackship between varian from tangled the series, and himari arisugawa (aka cure custard) from kirakira precure a la mode. lets break it down.
the idea first came to me about three years ago. i was in the trenches of my tangled hyperfixation and, as always, magical girls were on the back of my mind. i was trying to come up with an idea for an oc, and had the thought of a baker girl apprenticing under uncle monty. CUE MY JIMMY NEUTRON BRAIN BLAST.
himari has an interest in both sweets and science. kkpcalm also has french themeing, since its thought of as the dessert capital of the world, and the kingdom of corona is partially based on napoleon-era france. so she'd fit right into the world of tangled!
varian and himari are both seen as "weird" in their respective shows. for varian, its because of his dangerous experiments and reckless curiosity, while himari was judged for her special interests and it lead her to isolate herself from her peers. but they also have a lot of pride in their abilities, and learn to trust themselves over time.
i think these two would be such a cute pairing, romantically or platonically! hopefully i don't sound insane hjfgjjgfgh-
