Pretty simple, hard to execute for Error's I'd assume. Being there. Being present in his life even at his worst moments. He's loyal to a fault but too focused on the superficiality of friendships to really fully grasp what's missing. But if you're patient and avoid being bubbled... he'll consider you a close friend. There's a reason Pen is his best friend.

And some Pen and Vari stuff! Aka there’s a lot more Vari but thats cause I’m not done with other Pen stuff. (also lineless art is just... its nice its fun to do) We have Pen in the second image with Bow Papyrus (he’s just UT papyrus, but with a different outfit. Post Pacifist outfit for me.) Pen and Vari being best pals in the fourth image. Unlike Error and Ink, the actually do get along and enjoy each others company. And scheme together.  Fifth image is @ohlookanothercartoontofallinto hugging our boys. Cause drawing vs trying to figure out how to sew up a plush of them to send to her lol and the sixth one is Vari making friends with Frisk however not the best way. You don’t bubble your friends! He’s trying his best

The reference post of my version of Ink Papyrus and a redesign of @loverofpiggies Error Papyrus! We gave them names. Pen and Variable (or Vari for short). Pen’s shorter than most Papyrus’ but he still taller than Sans, a little nod to the fact Ink is Tiny. Also Pen’s name is a pun for Ink pen (as @ohlookanothercartoontofallinto​‘s the one who came up with Pen’s name as co-creator.) He’s proficient at doodling, making himself clothing attire. Yes that’s a sharpie pen.  Also, fun note. He doesn’t have red in his palette. Unless the time its in his eyes. He’s got fangs all the time. Teef. He’s very willing to fight but that’s cause short people have much fight in them. Either will start a fight or end it. So friend pool is... it Varie’s. Vari... my boy.... I absolutely love him vari much. Bubble son. I know theres different takes on him. His name is in reference to the fact that... variables are like storage locations in codes. Like the bubbles he’s got. He gets a redesign because the Underverse Papyrus post kinda demanded it so. (Thats the whole reason they exist now, 2000 and I love them). I couldn’t give him a bow, but hes got ribbons. He’s almost harmless, just be his friend and you’re maybe fine. Unless he decides to bubble you. Hugs are welcomed. Doesn’t really have enemies. He’d much rather friends. Alas, not many wants to be his friend. A crime really.
