It’s hugely celebrated nationwide! I went to Garni village where the ancient pagan temple of Garni is located and Armenian pagans mark this holiday. I went there twice and I was so drenched by the evening, my hair and clothes were still wet when I arrived home, although it was +40 C. Garni folks aren’t playing about Vardavar!
