Replayed the Walton mission in RDR1 just to practice using the controls on my Switch because I hadn't played in a while.
This game always reminds me that I don't do well working under pressure AT ALL.

This waterfall at the edge of Tall Trees and Hennigan's Stead is my favourite spot.
Today I've been feeling a little blue, and as I was cleaning out my closet, I found my Nintendo Switch. I hadn't played Red Dead in a couple weeks, and with a new writing project and work taking up my most of my mind, I barely could make any time to play.
But since I felt blue today, I pulled it out and booted it up. I always loved riding around, picking herbs and flowers (speaking of, I picked a Hummingbird Sage for the first time today). It has always been so relaxing. And the waterfall? Even better.
Nice slow ride on a horse in the nature of fictional old West. Even if I can't do it in real life, this is close enough.
And no balm is quite as soothing.
