game synopsis:

Eternally cursed with a never-ending hunger, you have fought long and hard to resist the urge to drink human blood. This meant never staying in the same place for too long and never getting attached to anyone. The journey has been a long one, to say the least. 

Desperate for a place to rest your aching feet and a meal to quench the unquenchable, you find temporary refuge at a pub at the edge of town that reeks of rat droppings and day-old vomit. Your relief is short-lived, though, stunted by the presence of a vampire hunter sitting beside you at the bar. 

Navigating through conversation steeped with fear, friendship, and fatal attraction may be the only way left to keep your head. 

Will you be strong enough to fight your primal urges or will you give in to your desire? Perhaps, in more ways than one?

general about:

made for the 2024 queer vampire game jam, me and a handful of creatives got together to make our first game in 25 days! we learned alot in the process, and i think overall it is so exciting to have our efforts be a tangible (metaphorically) thing at the end of it.

i had the honor of working with @vitariesocks as our character artist and character cg artist, diskogoblin on IG for the pub background, and mayacheavwrites on IG for beta writing and for the beautiful game blurb above! i (scryillo/nightjar_nocturne on itch) had the opportunity to work on the game's narrative and code.
