You know what’s scary? Vampires. They stalk you in the night, suck your blood through your neck and turn people into one of them! (And that’s coming from a vampire lover here). You know what else is scary? Upsetting your significant other! Yeah, one mistake and it might be over! But what if there was a misunderstanding that drove them apart? Can that be fixed? Let’s see:
*Vampigami-Adrienette is so sickeningly in love that it’s giving Nathalie morning sickness. Nevertheless, she’s still happy for them as the feeling between them is mutual? How so? Adrien’s paternal grandparents are coming over as they got tickets for all of them to see “The Vampire Horrific Musical Show” an interactive horror vampire musical. Basically, their “Rocky Horror Picture Show”. Hold up, didn’t Marinette say she hated horror movies? (“Gorizilla”). This is a kooky musical using paper origami bats and yet it still gives her the heebie jeebies. Fearing this’ll end Adrienette, Marinette lies and says she’s all for horror movies now even though she’s gonna piss herself being there. Lol!
That show is hugely popular that once the tickets went up on sale, it was sold out, thus not everyone is seeing it. Rose wanted to and even though it’d be the perfect opportunity to give her a ticket, like a certain Fox Miraculous holder nudged, but the little ladybug didn’t take the hit. Julerose is more soft and their relationship is just as good even if Juleka isn’t into dancing and vampires like Rose. A certain someone, Prem, is. He’s just as upbeat as Rose and goes into Bollywood style musical sequences and cuz of this, he’s close with Rose.
Maybe a little too close. He calls Rose “Princess”, but then again he calls everyone “Princess”/“Prince” platonically. Those three a**holes, Ray and his friends, saw that and are now targeting Julerose for their next relationship sabotage. Do those guys have nothing better to do? Are they jealous that they can’t get s/o’s themselves? Is it just for sick kicks? Anyways, they obtain two tickets and give them to Prem and his “princess”. He falls for their fake generosity hook, line and sinker and even though it almost backfired when he suggested Julerose go instead, Juleka politely declined and allowed the two to go together. However, she was still heartbroken over possibly losing Rose. With her brother Luka gone and video chatting not helping her worries cuz he’s not physically here to comfort her, she feels even worse. At the show, Marinette freaks out, Rose grows concerned for Juleka (after a call from Luka) and Prem feels guilty for unintentionally causing relationship drama which gets him akumatized as “Count” Vampigami. His supervillain form is a flashy, glittery theatre vampire fitting for the show and he uses his origami bats to transform others into his replica minions. It was pretty cool, but for Ladybug, her “Marinette” was showing as even this scared the pants off her. Lol! So is Marinette/Ladybug a Sanguivoriphobic or something?
I know I said this review was gonna be up last month, but things came up, so I had to reschedule, but I managed to set up a new system and you’ll be seeing these reviews more often. Huh? Would you look at that, the name “Vampigami” had absolutely positively nothing to do with Kagami like I assumed. Guess it was too on the nose? Shame this didn’t come out around Halloween last year though. Total missed opportunity there. Oh well. As much as we all love Adrienette, there are times where they can get “cringey” such as waking up before roosters just to have early morning breakfast disrupting people’s sleep and spending every minute of every day together, but it’s only cuz it’s young love and in the end they’re happy as can be. It’s also good to know that it’s not just Marinette goin’ over the top on the romance, cuz Adrien finds it cute and is consent with it. Another thing is Marinettes vast insecurity such as fearing saying “no” will automatically have her dumped, but she keeps forgetting Adrien is the most understanding boyfriend in the world. We’re gonna see more of this I know, so I’ll be there to call her out on it don’t worry. Least she admitted to Adrien how she still can’t stand horror movies and now she can save herself the nightmares. Julerose is stronger, so much so that Rose is now comfortable showing her growing (still unnnamed) illness to Juleka by wig shopping to cover her now bald head. Poor sweet Rose. Unlike Marinettes thinking, they know they can be different and still love each other. Yet, the thought of losing them to someone similar to themselves still threatens their bond. Juleka has nobody to confide to with Luka away on safe secrecy and so she’s left with all this hurt that could cause an akumatization (which thankfully did not happen). She did voice her feelings to Rose and Rose reassured her that she’ll always love her. It was even mature of them to help the dynamic duo without their personal problems getting in the way too (must’ve been cathartic for Purple Tigeress to use her power on Vampigami though I assume). Yeah, fear of losing your partners love can be scary. You know what else is scary? Lila/Cerise/Iris/Chrysalis suspects Marinette might be Ladybug! Don! Don! Don! Yes! Not only is she trying to obtain the miraculouses, but she’s gone above and beyond to lock the doors and set up security cameras in the restrooms just to see if “Ladybug” will transform. Fortunately, Tikki noticed and informed Marinette. Phew! 😮💨 It’s not just the hidden cameras, she also akumatizes people downright telling them not to give her the miraculouses all to further put in motion where the heroes might run and hide to transform and reveal their identities (f*cking evil genius). She seemed to have noticed that Ladybug also showed the exact same fear when battling Vampigami with Cat Noir like how she saw Marinette freaking out before the show’s premiere when she (Lila/Cerise/Iris) was in the audience. Much like the former Butterfly Holder, Lila/Cerise/Iris is in cahoots with Tomoe as she’s still secretly evil and informs her on her suspicions. Tomoe doesn’t think so, but Lila/Cerise/Iris is positive and still wants to find further evidence.
