twitter user @/vampbyte started a ‘random brush challenge’ where you download an unknown brush in Clip Studio and have to create an entire piece with it, and I threw this together last night in about 2 and a half hours or so.
I ended up doing a portrait of an old OC, and the brush I got was ‘texture swath 2′ -- something that had a lot of texture, but didn’t blend unless you layered and color picked a lot. It was really rejuvenating to shake up my process but still create something I liked, cause I really really like how this came out! The whole reason I’ve been interested in learning CSP is because I’ve been unhappy with how SAI handles textures lately. I’m super excited to do more stuff like this (though not with just one brush LOL)!
