Dean Winchester and Y/N were as different as two people could be. He was just killing time until graduation, and she spent all of her time dancing and studying, dreaming of a career as a professional dancer. When fate throws them together, they fall in love. But she chooses dance over him, and they part ways for 14 years. When her mother dies she returns to Lawrence with a partner in tow and opens up a dance studio, and Deanâs ex-wife just signed their daughter up for lessons.
âNice of you to grace us with your presence, Winchester,â Mr. Price says with a scowl as Dean Winchester comes sauntering into the room, not giving a shit that he is fifteen minutes late. Guys like him drive me nuts. Just because youâre good looking doesnât mean you can do whatever the hell you want. Unless you're Dean Winchester, apparently.
He gives Mr. Price his trademark cheeky grin. âWell now Iâm here, let the Biology party commence!â he orders as he slides into his seat. What an asshole.
Mr. Price coughs and shuffles some papers on his desk. Of course, anyone else would get sent to the principal, but not him. It doesnât matter what he does, he never gets in trouble. Mr. Price turns his attention to the class. âOkay class, today we will be starting our first lab, so I am going to assign lab partners. Everyone starts talking at once. He holds up a hand and everyone quiets.
âLet me save you the trouble: No, you canât change or swap partners. Yes, itâs for the whole year, and no, I wonât change my mind, and yes, by all means complain to principal Mills but she will back me up. So are we good?â he asks as he looks around.  Everyone nods in defeat. âIâm going to read down the list, and no complaining!â
He goes down the list, and when he gets to my name, my pulse quickens. âY/L/N, youâre with Winchester.â Several people look over at me in sympathy as my mouth opens and closes like a fish. âGet with your partners and open your books to page 26.âÂ
âGood luck, Y/N,â the person sitting next to me says as he gets out of his seat and heads across the room. I look straight ahead, trying to hold it together as Dean sits down next to me.
âSmart and pretty, lucky me,â Dean says with a wide smile.
I finally turn to look at him. âListen and listen good, Winchester,â I say through gritted teeth. âI need to do well in this class. So youâd better be ready to work because I am not carrying you. I know youâre not stupid, so donât act like you are.â
He blinks in surprise. âWell consider me warned. I will do my best not to disappoint you, Sarge.â
âEarth to Dean! Will you pay attention already? I have to leave for dance soon, and we arenât even half done. And stop playing with my hair!â I shove the Biology book away from me and glared at him.Â
We are studying for our Biology test in the mostly empty library one day after school. Dean, who has been busy twirling one of my curls around his finger looks up in surprise. âIâm listening! Hey, can I ask you something?â
âUmâŚ..Okay.â I reply warily.
âWhen do you get to be a teenager?â he asks quietly, his eyes meeting mine.
âExcuse me?â
âYouâre always running to dance practice or studying. Why do you practice so much? When do you get to have fun? Do you even know how?â For once, his trademark smirk was missing, and his eyes looked sad.
.âI work so hard because I want to be a professional dancer. I want to go to Juilliard. My mom works her ass off, but moneyâs been tight since my dad died.â  Tears filled my eyes. I was suddenly on the verge of bawling, but I couldnât let Dean see me break down. âIâŚI need to get a book off the shelf, Iâll be right back.â I pushed back in my chair and ran into the stacks. I stopped in a corner, my chest heaving and tears pouring down my face.
âY/N,â Dean said quietly, his hand on my shoulder. âAre you okay?â I whirled around to face him, my back pressed against the bookshelf, and Deanâs tall form looming in front of me.
âYouâre right, you know. Iâve been working so hard Iâve forgotten how to have fun,â I admitted sheepishly.
He leaned in closer until our chests were practically touching. Reaching out, he tucked a lock of hair behind my ear. âConsider this lesson one,â he said in a thick voice as he leaned down and cradling the side of my jaw in his huge hand, he brushed his lips against mine. I jumped as though an electric current had jolted through me.

I began to cut back on dancing to spend more time with Dean. My teacher Miss Julia wasnât happy about it, but she could see we were young and in love so she let it slide for the moment. It was hard, but I managed to find a balance between dance, school, and Dean.
I lost my virginity in the back of his dadâs â67 Impala, and that was the first time I told Dean that I loved him. I thought about him all the time. He was planning on working in his dadâs garage when we graduated, but the thought of being separated from him was getting harder and harder to bear.
âWhatâs going to happen to us if I get accepted to Juilliard?â I asked one day as we lay on the grass outside school studying for finals. âItâs all the way in New York. I donât think I can stand to be that far away from you.â I said with a pout.
âWhat if I came with you? We can get a crap apartment somewhere, and Iâll get a job as a mechanic while you go to school. At least weâll be together.â
I jumped into his arms. âYou would do that for me? But what about your Dadâs shop?â
He hugged me tightly. âI want to be where you are.â

The news came a week before graduation. I had gotten a full scholarship to Juilliard! I couldnât believe it and after telling Dean, I practically ran to the studio to tell Miss Julia. She asked me to take a seat in her office. âYou are the most gifted dancer I have ever taught, Y/N. I have no doubt you will go far.â
âDean is moving to New York with me so we can be together. He is going to get a job while I go to school. Everything is working out.â
Miss Julia looked sadly at me. âI wouldnât be doing my job if I didnât mention this. Having him go with you is a big mistake. You are going to be working harder than youâve ever worked before, dancing 16-hour days. You need to be at the top of your game, and keep your distractions to a minimum. End it now while there still is time.â
But I couldnât bring myself to do it. Iâd tried to broach the subject with him, but it never went anywhere. Then graduation happened and we were leaving the next week. Finally, IÂ had no choice. He had just taken me to dinner and the words came spilling out. âDean, we need to talk about something,â I began tentatively.
âOkay, shoot.â
âI donât think you should come to New York with me,â I said in a rush.
âWhat? Why the hell not?â he demanded.
âI need to be focused on my dance, and youâll just be a distraction. Iâll always love you.â I tried reaching for him, but his eyes were cold as he backed away.
. âAre you sure this is what you want? If I leave now, we are done. And for the record, I think youâre making a terrible mistake.â
âI love you, but I think this is best for both of us,â I said sadly.
He shook his head in disbelief and headed for the door. âHave a nice life,â he told me sarcastically. Hopping into the Impala, he lay his head on the steering wheel for a minute while his heart broke into a million pieces. Reaching into his pocket, he took out the black jewelers box and threw it on the passengerâs seat. âGuess I wonât be needing this.â Then he peeled out of the driveway.
I held out hope he would come and say goodbye when I left but he never did. I cried on the entire flight to New York.

Part 1
PRESENT DAY
"Thank you for coming," I say quietly for what seems like the hundredth time, shaking another person's hand. I am still overwhelmed by the number of people who have shown up to pay their respects.
"Your mother touched a lot of lives," our old neighbor Mrs. Clancy comments as she hugs me then moves along to allow me to greet the next person.
I feel fresh tears welling up again, and Cass hands me a new tissue. Calling hours are almost done, and then I can get these shoes off and maybe have a glass of wine.
"How are you holding up, pretty girl?" Cass asks as I lay my head on his shoulder for a second.
Castiel Novak is my rock and my best friend in the world. We met in those early days at Juilliard when I was still pining for Dean and having trouble getting out of bed, let alone dancing.
Thank goodness Cass took me under his wing. We teamed up and found out that we just clicked as partners. Anticipating his moves came as naturally as breathing. We just worked together so well he soon became my only partner.
We tried dating for a hot minute, but Cass knew my heart belonged to someone else, so we decided to be friends instead. After college we got an apartment together, and started the rounds of auditions.
We danced on Broadway many shows, including Wicked and Hamilton, and toured the world with several famous singers, most notably Beyonce. Cass is in demand as a choreographer now, but I am still his favorite partner and collaborator. We had just been asked to tour with Taylor Swift when the word came that my mom had passed away suddenly from a stroke.
"I'm just tired," I said wearily. "Thanks again for coming with me. I donât know what Iâd do without you.â
"Like I would let you face this alone," he whispered as he kissed the top of my head.
I turn to greet the next person and time stops for a moment when I come face to face with those green eyes that have haunted my dreams for the last decade.Â
Dean Winchester.Â
Damn, the years have been good to him! I canât stop staring and for a moment I am actually struck speechless by how attractive he is. You gave up HIM for dancing? Are you insane?? My inner bitch says mockingly.
Cass, sensing something is wrong, comes up next to me and coughs loudly to break me out of my trance. "Hey Dean," I say weakly, holding out my hand to shake.Â
"Y/N," he says curtly, ignoring my hand, so I drop it to my side. "I liked your mom. Who's he?" he asks abruptly, glaring at Cass.
"So this is Dean?" Cass asks before giving Dean a brilliant smile, and not bothering to answer his question. Jerk.
He gives Cass such a hard look his smile abruptly fades and then he looks annoyed. Oh boy, here we go. "Dean this is myâŚâŚ.  This is Cass."  I don't owe him any explanations, so I leave it at that. Cass makes things worse by putting his arm around me. Now heâs just trying to cause trouble.
"Now listen here,"Â Dean snaps as he sizes Cass up.
"No, you listen, Winchester. There is a time and a place for everything, and this just isn't the time." Cass informs him with a shake of his head.
I can tell that Dean's ready to blow, so I throw up a hand against his chest. "Please don't make a scene at my mother's funeral." I implore him, my hand clutching at his shirt.
He gazes down at my hand and nods silently before turning to leave, stopping to look back and stare at me intently before he does.
'Well that certainly was interesting," Cass remarks dryly.
The last person to come is my old dance teacher Miss Julia. We hug and I introduce her to Cass. "I'd love to have you come down to the studio, for old times sake. Do you have time for your old teacher?" she asks with a grin.
"For you, I'll make the time," I promise.
_______________________________
That night, Cass and I are sharing a pizza and a bottle of wine at my mom's house.
"So DeanâŚ.." Cass remarks offhandedly as he chews a bite of pizza.
"What about him?"
"He looked like he wanted to rip my face off. He's a little intense, isn't he?" Cass comments as he pours more wine. Â
"He's still angry. I told him I loved him, and he was ready to drop everything for me, Cass. But Miss Julia told me he would âdistractâ me, so I chose dance over him. And he clearly hasn't forgiven me or forgotten."  Despite my best efforts, I felt a tear rolling down my cheek. I hastily wipe it away.
"If he'd only seen what leaving him cost you," Cass observed, taking my hand. "You were a mess. I didn't think you'd bounce back from it."
"Thank goodness I had you," I remarked with a soft smile. âSo are you up for visiting Miss Julia tomorrow? I want to take you to the studio and show you where I got my start.â
âSure!â Cass said enthusiastically. âI want to see where tiny dancer Y/N took her first stepsâ. Â
________________________________
When we pulled up to the studio, I could tell by the number of cars that lessons were underway. âLetâs see if Miss Julia is free. She may be teaching.â I comment as we approach the door. It even smells the same.
When we entered, complete chaos reigned. There were little girls in both studios taking lessons, and girls on the chairs outside waiting for their turns. There werenât enough chairs so the parents were clustered at the end of the hall in a large group talking and laughing. Â
I flagged down a young woman in dance gear who looked like she might be an instructor. âSorry to bother you. Is Miss Julia around?â
âShe might be in the office, or teaching in studio three, Iâm not sure. Can I help you with something?â She blew her sweaty hair out of her face and smiled. âSorry, itâs insane today.â
I smiled at her. âIâm Y/F/N Y/L/N, she asked me to stop by.â
Recognition dawned, and her mouth dropped. âHoly shit! Youâre famous here. Thereâs a display and everything.â
My eyes narrowed as Cass chuckled behind me. âA display?â
âYep, itâs over there,â she pointed down the hall. âHey, Courtney! Have you seen Miss Julia?â
âSheâs in the office.â A disembodied voice called back.
âThanks,â I replied before turning away.
âWait!â The girl asked, âCan I get a picture with you, please?â
âUm, sure,â I said awkwardly as she handed her phone to Cass and he dutifully snapped a few pictures before handing it back.
âThanks so much! I have to run, my class is starting. Great to meet you!â Then she took off running, nimbly navigating the crowded hallway.
âI didnât know I was in the presence of a celebrity,â Cass commented with a huge grin.
âShut it. Letâs go check out this displayââ I told him, grabbing his arm and pulling him down the hallway. It was outside of the office. We both stood there open-mouthed as we took it in.
The display case said in big letters, DEDICATION, DETERMINATION, DISCIPLINE
Inside were many of my dance trophies I had won at competitions, pictures of me in various costumes, playbills from Wicked, Hamilton and other shows I had done, and T-shirts from the tours I had danced in. There was an article that had been written about me in the local paper after I graduated from Juilliard.
In the center was a picture of me dancing, a look of intense concentration on my face, and underneath a plaque with my name and the years I had studied with Miss Julia.
âHoly shit,â I whispered.
âYeah, Iâd say sheâs a little proud of you,â Cass said with a snort.

I said nothing, just marched forward, and knocked on the door. Miss Julia opened it, and when she saw it was me, her face broke out into a smile. âY/N! I was hoping youâd have time to visit. And you brought  Mr. Novak! How wonderful! Have a seat.â
âSo I saw your little displayâŚâ I began.
âIsnât it great? You are such an inspiration to young dancers. I wanted to show them that with hard work, it really is possible to go all the way. And you are proof of that. I have several girls who are just as talented as you were but need to focus.â
âIt seems like the studio is doing better than ever,â I commented. âThere were never this many kids taking lessons when I was here.â
Miss Juliaâs face looked sad for a moment. âY/N, there was a reason I asked you to come down here. Youâve been like a daughter to me, and I wanted you to hear this from me personally.â
There was something about the tone of her voice. âIs everything okay?â I asked nervously.
She shook her head. âNo, itâs not. My mother lives in Florida and she has cancer. I am moving there to care for her. Iâve been trying for over a year to find a buyer for this place, but no one is interested. So I have no other choice. I am closing the studio, but I wanted to tell you first.â

Pairing: Sam X past reader, Sam X Ruby (currently)
A/N: Did you like the movie âThe Parent Trapâ as a kid? It is one of my favorite movies! I decided to write my own version, with a Supernatural twist, of course!
Summary: Mary Winchester and Annie Campbell meet at summer camp, and they quickly realize they look too much alike for it to be a coincidence. Â They are twins! Their parents, Sam Winchester and Y/N Campbell divorced 12 years before, each taking custody of one girl. Â Now Sam lives in California and Y/N in New York. Â The girls hatch a plan to bring their parents back together, but will Samâs new fiancee ruin their plans?
Part 1Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Master List
âSam? What are you doing here? I thought we were picking Mary up at the airport tomorrow?â you asked, the confusion evident on your face.
âI didnât really like the idea of Mary flying all that way by herself, and I wanted to see Annie. So I flew out with her, and Iâm flying back tomorrow,â Sam said sheepishly.
âIâm so glad you did!â Annie exclaimed happily, practically knocking you over in her haste to hug him.
Sam looked over her shoulder at you, waiting for your reaction. You smiled gently at him to let you know you werenât too mad.
âWell, I just wanted to make sure she got here safely. I have a hotel room reserved for the night at the airport.â Sam told you and the girls.
âNo way, the airport is gross! Canât he stay here with us tonight, Mom?â Annie asked, instantly knowing a good opportunity when she saw it.am
âI donât want to intrude on your time with the girls,â he said immediately.
âYouâre welcome to stay here, as long as you donât mind sleeping on the couch,â you informed him.
His smile lit up his whole face. Â Â âThat would be great! Â Itâs a later flight anyway.â
Annie pulled Mary into the apartment, excitingly, but Sam still stood in the hallway, looking uncertain.
âAre you coming in or what?â you finally asked. Â He nodded without speaking, a heated look passing between you. âI know you really just came to see me, Sam,â you said jokingly.
âMaybe I did,â he whispered as he walked into your apartment. You felt your cheeks get red.
As Annie and Mary headed off to her room to get settled, you invited Sam to join you at the kitchen table. âWould you like something to eat? Some coffee?â
âCoffee would be great. Â Just milk, right? How are Dean and Donna? Anything new with them?â
âYep.â You could tell he was pleased that you remembered. âSo Dean and Donna went to Minnesota to spend Thanksgiving with Donnaâs family.â
You blinked in surprise. âNo way! Is it getting serious?â Dean had always enjoyed playing the field ever since Stanford.
âOh, it IS serious. He says our âtrainwreckâ has made him reevaluate his priorities.â Sam told you with a wry grin.
âI wouldnât call it a trainwreck, exactly.â A thought occurred to you. âSo what are you doing for Thanksgiving?â
âJuliet and I are going to eat sushi and binge-watch Breaking Bad.â
You gave him a stern look. âAbsolutely not! You are staying here, and spending Thanksgiving with us.â
âYou donât have to do this because youâre feeling sorry for me, Y/N,â Sam said indignantly.
âMaybe Iâm doing it because I want to spend time with you, you moron!â Grinning at the surprised look on his face, you called out to the girls. âMary, Annie, can you come here please?â
They appeared at the table, clearly thrilled to be together. âSo girls. It turns out that your uncle went to Minnesota with Donna to visit her parents. I invited your dad to spend Thanksgiving here with us. Is that okay with you two?â
The twins exchanged a surprised look, then identical grins broke out on their faces. âThat would be awesome!â Annie said happily.
Mary gave you a serious look. âAre you sure you two are okay with it?â
Annie rolled her eyes. âWith the amount they text, they are BFFs now.â
You smiled at Maryâs thoughtfulness. âYes, we are both okay with it. Right, Sam?â
He nodded in agreement. âAbsolutely.â
After getting the girls settled for the night in Annieâs room, you dug around until you found a comforter and some pillows for Sam. Eyeing the couch critically, you glanced up at him. Â âAre you sure you want to do this? I canât see how this will be comfortable. Youâre twice as long as the couch.â
âIâll manage. Unless youâre offering to let me sleep with you? Your bed looks big enough.â Sam stated nonchalantly.
You threw a pillow at him. âOh youâd like that, wouldnât you? Youâre going to have to try way harder than that, Mr. Winchester. Iâm not going to make this easy on you.â
âDuly noted, Ms. Campbell,â he replied with a dimpled smirk.
Handing the bedding over to him, you whispered seductively, âWell Iâll leave you to figure this out while I put on my lingerie in my big, empty bed.â
âThatâs a low blow, Y/N,â he muttered under his breath.
You snorted with laughter as you headed off to your room. Oh, this was going to be fun.
The next morning you woke to the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Â Coming out of your room, you saw that Sam had made breakfast for the girls.
âSaved you some,â he said as he slid a plate in your direction.
âSince when do you cook?â you said doubtfully, giving the plate a suspicious look.
âSince I got divorced and realized I still liked to eat,â he informed you and the twins giggled.
âSo Mom, I was thinking we could show Dad and Mary around today. Maybe go see the tree at Rockefeller Center?â Annie said around a mouth full of pancakes.
âTomorrowâs Thanksgiving. Donât we have to go grocery shopping?â Sam asked curiously.
âSince it was only going to be the three of us, I ordered a pre-cooked meal from Zabars. We just have to heat everything up,â you told him.
âMicrowaved Thanksgiving dinner?â Sam said doubtfully.
âTrust me, itâs delicious, youâll love it,â you assured him.
It was a pretty cold day but everyone bundled up as you took Sam and the girls around the city. Â As soon as Mary saw the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center, she insisted that you needed to skate.
âYou girls go. Iâm a terrible skater. Annie usually has to hold me up,â you told them with a wave of your hands.
âIâve always wanted to try ice-skating outside, Mom. Annie can help me, and Dad can help you,â Mary responded helpfully.
âWhat makes you think I can ice skate, Mary?â Sam asked with a grin.
She shrugged, âyouâre good at pretty much every sport, so I just assumedâŚ..â
âYou two go. Iâll take care of your mom.â Sam promised the girls.
Sam paid for all of you and Mary and Annie were quick to get their skates on and head out. Mary was as unsteady as a newborn colt, but Annie held her hand and guided her, and soon they were making slow progress around the track.
âCome on slowpoke,â Sam whispered in your ear. Â âYouâre just postponing the inevitable.â
You glared at him as you got to your feet slowly, your legs as shaky as jello. Â Sam held out his hand and you grasped it tightly, inching your way onto the ice. Â You slowly progressed around the track, Samâs hand tight in yours, and you began to relax.
The twins passed by the two of you several times, and they looked red-cheeked and happy. Â âLook at them,â you said to Sam. âMary looks like sheâs having a blast.â
Sam turned his head to look, and a teenager whipping around the track tried to maneuver around you. His shoulder bumped into yours, throwing you off balance, and you began to fall.
Flailing wildly, you were about to hit the ice face first when a hard yank on your arm pulled you upright and into Samâs waiting arms. Â âIâve got you. You okay?â
You nodded mutely, trying to catch your breath as Sam guided you off the ice to a bench just outside the rink. Â The girls were still skating. âThanks for helping me. Youâre my hero.â
Sam knelt in front of you and began to unlace your skates. âLetâs be honest, Y/N. I havenât been your hero in a very long time. Â Having you in my life again has made me realize what a fool I was to not fight harder for us. But if you ever give me another chance, Iâm going to spend the rest of my life making it up to you.â
Thanksgiving was a wonderful day. Youâd picked up your already prepared dinner the day before, and after heating and plating everything, you all dug in. Even Sam grudgingly admitted it was delicious. You watched Sam laughing and joking with the twins, he seemed to be having a good time.
âI got an email from work earlier. I am going to have to fly back on Saturday. I have some stuff I need to take care of in the office. Mary is still off of school next week, so you are welcome to keep her until next weekend if you want.â He looked sad for spoiling the holiday.
As your heart plummeted at the thought of him leaving, you came to a realization. You had fallen in love again with your ex-husband. The question was, what were you going to do about it?
âMary, do you want me to fly back to get you so you donât have to fly alone?â Sam asked his daughter.
Mary smiled broadly at her father. âI think Iâll be okay this time as long as Mom and Annie wait with me beforehand.â
âIf youâre sure,â he said, a note of uncertainty in his voice.
âI want to spend as much time with Annie as possible.â Mary insisted.
âHey Mom, there is a dance at the Boys and Girls Club tomorrow night. Carlos asked us if we wanted to go. His mom said she would take us. Is it okay if we go?â Annie asked.
You looked over at Sam. âIs it okay with you?â
âWho is Carlos?â he asked with a frown.
âHeâs been Annieâs best friend since first grade. Â They live down the hall. I know both of his parents really well. They are good people.â
âCarlos likes Mary,â Annie announced nonchalantly.
âAnnie! Shut up!â Mary hissed, her cheeks turning red.
You turned to Annie. âIs Enrique going too?â you asked.
âYes.â
You turned to Sam, âEnrique is Carlosâ older brother. He is fifteen. His mother makes him go to keep an eye on the kids. She is very over-protective. They will be fine.â
âIâm okay with it if you are,â Sam finally decided.
The next night, the girls spent what Sam thought was a ridiculously long time getting ready for the dance. Â He was flipping channels on the TV looking for something to watch while you got up for the third time when Annie frantically called, âMom, we need you!â from her room.
You returned a few minutes later and sat down, looking a bit flustered. Â âEverything okay?â he asked.
âIt is now,â you said a little dramatically.
âAnything I can do?â
âNot unless you want to have the discussion with the girls again about why they are too young to wear makeup,â you told him with a sigh.
âMakeup? Are you serious?â he asked in disbelief.
âOh yes, and Iâm pretty sure itâs from the dollar store,â you told him as you got up and headed to the fridge. âI need a drink. Want one?â you asked.
There was a knock at the door and Sam beat you to it. Damn his long legs! âYou must be Carlos.â You heard him say. âIâm Annie and Maryâs dad. Come on in. Girls, Carlos is here!â
When the girls came out, they were dressed casually, but Sam could tell they had taken care with their appearance. Â âHi, Carlos. The dance is over at 900, right?â you asked.
âYeah. My Mom was going to take us out for ice cream afterward if thatâs okay with you.â Carlos responded.
âThatâs fine. She texted me already. She said sheâd have you home by ten. Make good choices, you two,â you told your daughters.
âTake good care of my girls, young man,â Sam told Carlos, holding out his hand to shake.
âI will, Sir,â Carlos replied, and the three of them left.
You headed back inside. Grabbing two beers, and handing one to Sam. The two of you sat on the couch, and he flipped channels aimlessly for a bit. Â âSo, we have about three kid-free hours on my last night here. Â What do you want to do?â
âI think we should have a talk.â
âAbout?â Sam asked casually, putting his beer on the coffee table and looking over at you.
âI realized something. I realized that Iâm ready. I want this. I want you, I want our family. Somehow Iâve managed to fall in love with you all over again, Sam Winchester.â you stared at each other for a long moment as you waited for Sam to react.
A second later he picked you up out of your seat, and pulled you into his lap, straddling him. You arched up, taking his face in your hands as your lips met in a passionate kiss. You could feel his growing arousal pressing against you, and you rubbed your body against it eagerly.
You made out on the couch like teenagers, both of you panting with need until you thought you were going to explode. Finally, you managed to tear your mouth from Samâs and extricate yourself from his embrace.
âWaitâŚ..â he began to say.
You were dizzy with desire. Standing so quickly made you lightheaded as you looked down at him, clothes askew, looking wrecked, and he stared back at you with eyes hazy with lust. Â You held out your hand. Â âWe have about two kid-free hours, give or take. How about we make good use of them?â

âItâs only a damn date!â I keep telling myself in an effort to not break down completely from the stress of it all. The entire contents of my closet had puked their way onto my bed, and I couldnât find anything. Â This was not going well, and I was getting frazzled.
When my cell rang I had to run in from the depths of my closet to answer it, and I sounded out of breath.âHello?â
âHey Y/N, itâs Terri. Are you okay? Why do you sound so out of breath?â
I grinned at the phone. Â It is so like my big sis to check up on me. âDeanâs taking me on our first date tonight, and I want it to be perfect.â
âIs he now?â Terri said in an amused voice. Â âWhy buy the cow when you get the milk for free?â
âShut it. Â As untraditional as this is, we are trying to make this work, so be supportive.â
âHave you picked out an outfit to wear?â She questioned.
I snorted at the pile of clothes spread all over my room and hung my head. âNoâŚ.not really. Can you come help?â
âNow youâre speaking my language, girl! If I can help move this bizarre love train along the track, Iâm on it. Iâll be over in a few minutes.â
âThanks, Ter. I knew I could count on you.â
Terri arrived and immediately set to work cleaning up the mess on my bed. Â âSo show me what you have so far. Â This place is a mess. Â How can you still be as sloppy as you were when you were twelve?â
âIâm stressed, T. Â I hate every piece of clothing I own, and I donât have the energy to go shopping. Â Dean said to wear something âniceâ. What does that mean exactly?â My voice was edging higher with panic.
âRelax. Breathe. We got this. You want to look pretty but not like your trying to hard. So where are you going anyway?â
I shrugged my shoulders. âI donât even know. Â He didnât say.â
âI gotta admit, Y/N, as much as I was prepared to hate him just on principle, that boy is clearly crazy about you. Â Seal the deal now before he realizes just how high maintenance you are.â Â
âBitch,â I said half-heartedly, but I was smiling.
My sister laughed as she disappeared into my closet. Â Then I heard her rummaging around for a bit. âI found it!â She said a moment later.
Terri walked out with a blue silk shirt dress that I completely forgot I owned. Â âThis will do nicely.â She commented.
I gave it an appraising glance. âAre you sure?â
Rolling her eyes, Terri handed me the dress. âYes, Iâm sure. The color is a good one for you, the silk makes it a little fancy, and most important, it opens in the front for easy access.â
âI think I bought matching shoes for this. Â Lemme look.â Â I marched into my closet and pulled a white shoebox from the top shelf. A cascade of boxes and purses came raining down on my head and I swore.
Handing the box to Terri, I sat down on my bed and rubbed the top of my head. âJust for the record, Dean and I donât spend every minute having sex. Â We do talk.â
âOh Iâm sure you do,â she told me as she picked out my jewelry. âBut when Dean sees you, heâs gonna be thinking with his downstairs Alpha brain. Less talk, more action.â
It was almost seven, and I waited anxiously for Deanâs arrival. Terri had left an hour ago, saying her work here was done and she expected some details later as payback.
As soon as I heard the knock, I was on my feet in an instant, practically running to the door.  âYou lookâŚ...wow,â Dean exclaimed immediately as soon as he saw me.  He looked gorgeous in a tan jacket and dark slacks, and when our eyes met, I felt the sizzle of his hot gaze down to my toes.  âThese are for you,â he said as he handed me a bouquet of wildflowers.
âThey are beautiful.â I sniffed the delicate blooms appreciatively, âThese are my favorite! How did you know?â
âThey smelled like you.â
My cheeks colored at his comment. âLet me just put these in some water.â
âHow are you feeling?â he asked, and I was suddenly worried that every conversation was now going to revolve around my health. Â Iâd been down this road before.
âThis is only our first date, big boy. I think the health questions come later,â I replied with a smirk.
âIâm being serious, Y/N,â Dean said quietly.
My smile faded, and I sighed deeply. âIâm okay at the moment. Whatever they gave me in the hospital seems to have stopped my heat for now. Â So how did things go with Sam?â I asked, eager to change the subject.
âSurprisingly good. Â He canât wait to meet you.â Dean looked at his watch. âHey, we need to go or weâre gonna miss our reservation.â
âWe have reservations? You really brought your A game didnât you?â
The cocky smile he gave me reminded me of the first night weâd met. Â âWhen it comes to you, Iâll do whatever it takes.â
The restaurant Dean picked was a little Italian place that smelled amazing. Â Within a few minutes, we were seated in a cozy alcove and the waiter had brought us both glasses of a heady red wine. Â I laughed out loud at something Dean said, the conversation flowing naturally and easy between us as we perused our menus.
I happened to glance up from my menu and I noticed Deanâs eyes on me. His expression was soft and warm. Â âWhat?â I asked with a smile.
âIâve dreamed about doing this with you since I met you,â he told me, an adorably bashful grin on his face.
âThis?â I questioned, mirroring his smile.
âGoing on a date, doing normal couple stuff.â Dean paused, his eyes darkening, darting around the room before focusing on me. âI want everyone to know your mine.â
As I started into his handsome face, I could feel my heart beat a little faster. I licked my lips deliberately, eyes on him the whole time. Â âBuy me dinner first, Alpha, and Iâll show you later how much Iâm yours.â
Dean groaned softly, reaching out to take my hand as he scolded me playfully. âYou need to stop that, Omega, or weâll never make it to dinner.â
âBut Iâm very hungry.â Â I knew I was pushing my luck, but I was in a teasing mood.
âSo am I. And weâre eating,â he said firmly, squirming a bit in his seat - I couldnât hide my grin at the effect I knew I was having on him but before I could take the game any further, the waiter returned to our table with a basket of complimentary bread and pulled out his notepad.
We gave our order and Dean quickly took the opportunity to change the subject, aiming for more traditional âfirst dateâ questions, keeping the topic away from the things we already knew about each other. It kept going throughout the meal and I was pleasantly surprised that he was such an interesting and intelligent man.
It dispelled any notion that he was just a dumb caveman Alpha with only one thing on his mind.
I sat back in the booth, dropping my fork onto my plate. âI canât eat another bite. Â Iâm stuffed.â
Dean chuckled, running a last crust of the bread around his plate, collecting his steak sauce. âSo no dessert then?â
I shook my head with a fond smile, watching him pop the last morsel between his plump lips and it prompting an unbidden groan. Â âIf I eat dessert you wonât be getting any tonight,â I warned.
âWhat about to go?â he suggested. âYou really gotta try the fudge cake here.â Dropping his voice and leaning in, a lewd smile spread over his lips. âWe could always eat it in bed later.â
The thought of Dean feeding me cake in bed was kind of a turn on, to be honest. but I knew we wouldnât be eating in bed. But the thought of missing out on that fudge cakeâŚ
Two foil swans later, we were about to leave, just as another couple was being seated next to us. The woman stared at Dean, catching my attention with her intense look and I frowned, just as Dean noticed her and his face drained of color.
The woman said something to her companion and walked over to us. âDean?â she purred, reaching out to touch his arm. Â He jerked it away as though her touch burned.
âHey, Lisa,â he said in a tight voice.
âI was wondering what happened to you. They wouldnât tell me anything when I called. Just that you left. Iâve missed you.â Â Dean looked so uncomfortable, like a trapped animal. I was confused for a moment. Who was she?
âDean?â I asked tentatively.  His eyes came up to meet mine, and they were filled with such pain.  And then it hit me who she was. This womanâŚ..this Lisa, was one of Deanâs Omega clients from Alpha4.
âHeâs retired,â I snapped angrily. âJust leave us alone, please.â
âBut I needâŚ.â she began to say in a desperate voice.  Oh, I knew what she needed.
And just like that, our perfect first date was ruined as reality reared its ugly head. Â âCome, on. Weâre leaving.âI told Dean as I turned my back on that Omega who could have been me and walked away head held high as the tears began to flow.
A/N: This story is a Marvel/Supernatural crossover and a collaboration between me and my wondertwin @kittenofdoomage  Sheâs been a saint because I know I have driving her NUTS with this story but I am just obsessed. Itâs happened to all of us.
Two Years Earlier
This was supposed to be a milk run. Â On the way back from another case, Sam had caught wind of a few deaths that sounded demonic so they had stopped to check it out. Â He and Dean had both taken some hard hits during their last case. Sam had cut his hand pretty badly, and Dean had messed up his shoulder. Â They really werenât in fighting shape, though they would never admit it.
Two demons had Samâs arms pinned behind his back, and one of then had jammed Rubyâs blade against his neck. Â Another demon had Dean jacked up against the wall, slowly cutting off his air supply as he struggled and flailed in an effort to get free.
âLet them go.â a soft voice said. Â Everyone turned to see who had spoken. Â A young woman stood there, alone and weaponless.
âGet out of here!â Sam yelled. Â âTheyâre demons!â
The woman rolled her eyes at him. âI KNOW that Stretch, thanks for the newsflash.â
The demon holding Dean dropped him suddenly, and he fell to the floor with a hard  âUumph.â
âYou must have a death wish, little one,â he said as he began to advance towards her.
A grin tugged at her lips. âI really wouldnât do that if I were you.â
The demons closed in on the girl, as Sam struggled to break free of his captors. Dean was already on his feet. Â The demons had almost reached her, when a strong wind began to kick up in the room, whipping the girlâs hair around her head like angry snakes.
âIâd get down if I were you two,â she yelled to Sam and Dean over the sound of the wind. Â Her eyes began to glow with a bluish light and she held her hands out in front of her. It was as if she pulled lightning out of the ceiling, throwing it at the demons and instantly frying them. Â
Sam and Dean dropped to their knees, covering their heads as the smell of burning flesh and the sizzle of ozone filled the air. Â When they looked up, all the demons were dead; the girl put her hands down and her eyes gradually returned to normal.
âAre you okay?â she asked, running over to them.
Dean flinched away from her. Â âAre you a witch?â
âWhat? No! Iâm not a witch!â she replied quickly, frowning. Â âIâm a hunter.â
Sam smiled gently at her. âIâm Sam, this is my brother Dean. Â Weâre hunters too. Â Whatâs your name and how do you do that?â
âIâm Y/N. Iâve always been able to do this, so I canât really answer that, sorry. Â Do you guys want to discuss this somewhere else? Somewhere less demon-y?â
You crossed paths a few more times with the Winchesters, saving their asses again when a pair of ghouls were eating their way through a town in Mississippi, and later helping them save a tiny hamlet in Texas that was being held hostage by a pack of bloodthirsty vampires. Â
After Texas, Sam and Dean invited you to come back to their bunker to hang out. Â âYou have a bunker?â You said with surprise. Â âAre you guys survivalists or something?â
Dean rolled his eyes. Â âItâs not THAT kind of bunker, Y/N. Itâs not buried underground!â
Sam explained the whole Men of Letters deal and how they had commandeered the bunker. Â
âItâs our Batcave,â Dean said with a smirk.
âWe work well together, Y/N. We make a good team.â Sam commented, staring at you long enough to make you flush a little.
âThis I gotta see. Â Iâm in.â
Despite promising yourself you wouldnât stick with them for long, things with the Winchesters were more lively than youâd imagined. The bunker theyâd told you about was a treasure trove of information and relics and it was less than a day before you were bonding with Sam over a love of books and history.
Friendship turned into something else and eventually, weeks dissolved into months. You admitted to yourself that youâd fallen in love with Sam and it was unlikely youâd be going anywhere soon. He was passionate and kind and brave and endlessly curious about your powers, which was kind of adorable.
âCan anyone else in your family do what you do?â he asked you one day when you were reading in the library.
You looked up and shrugged. âI donât know. Â I grew up in foster care. Â I know nothing about my birth parents.â
âWell, I think your zappy-thing is awesome!â Dean said enthusiastically, shoveling a candy into his mouth as he walked into the room.
Sam snorted, leaning back in his chair. âSure you do. Â Werenât you the one who thought she was a witch when we first met?â
âShut up!â Dean scowled, folding his arms over his chest. âSheâs proved she is definitely an asset. She can kick YOUR ass, Gigantor.â
âShe can kick yours too, Dean. Â And Iâm her boyfriend, so I think my ass is safe.â Sam snapped back.
âGuysâŚ.â You tried to intervene, but they were on a roll.
Dean rolled his eyes towards the ceiling.  âJust because she is sleeping with youâŚ.â
âGUYSâŚ.â You said louder.  They ignored you as they tried to talk over each other.
Your eyes had begun to glow as papers began to blow around the room. Â Then Castiel teleported into the bunker, and you were so happy to see the angel you instantly calmed down. Â âTurn on the television,â Â he growled. Â âNow.â
âCas, whatâs wrong?â
âAliens have invaded New York City.â
You, the Winchesters, and Castiel sat in front of the TV in disbelief watching the coverage of the âBattle of New Yorkâ and its aftermath. Buildings destroyed, thousands of lives endangered, hundreds dead⌠it was horrific.
Dean seemed more intent on focusing on one aspect of the reports. âSeriously? Aliens are real? With all the shit that we have dealt with, why havenât we ever come across one?â He looked at Sam, who shrugged and held his hands up.
âThere was that one time,â he offered, âbut it turned out to be fairies.â
âI have never seen a creature like the Hulk before. Â He seems very angry,â Cas observed, frowning at the screen.
âWhat about Tony Stark? Now thereâs a genius! He actually built that suit.â You could tell by the tone of his voice that Sam was impressed. âI mean, weâve all heard about it but we never thought it was an actual thing.â
âDid you see Captain America? Â What a soldier! I used to love his comic books when I was a kid.â Â Dean had a far-away look in his eye as he watched the reports and you recognized it as hero-worship. Â He was suddenly 9 years old again, a goofy little kid and it just made you wanna pinch his cheeks.
On the screen, New York was in pieces. Youâd never been to the Big Apple and now⌠aliens? It seemed unbelievable, despite your own abilities. And superheroes with powers youâd never seen.
âPeople are never going to leave them alone now. Â The entire world knows what they can do,â you whispered. Â You always did your best to only use your powers in public when absolutely necessary, and you tried to never let anyone capture you on film doing it - it was a can of worms you never wanted opened.
âYou could be an Avenger, Y/N. Â You are very powerful,â Cas murmured gravely, not taking his eyes off of the television screen.
You laughed, waving him off like heâd told the funniest joke ever. âI am happy hunting monsters with you guys,â you informed him, leaning back and picking up your soda. âLetâs leave the aliens for the superheroes, okay?â

 Series Masterlist    My Masterlist                      Â
Readerâs POV
âSo, howâd it go with Bob? Tell me everything!â Nikki said excitedly the second Jared and me walked into my trailer.
âIs there anything you donât know about?â Jared asked in an amused voice.
Nikki and I exchanged a look. âListen, Jare.......â I began.
âOh, Padaleski, my friend. You should know better. Y/N and I have the kind of friendship you have with Jensen. We donât have secrets. We tell each other EVERYTHING!.â Nikki said gleefully.Â
Jared gave me a scared look.  âNot everything, right? You donât tell her about our sex life, do you? Please tell me you donât.â
Before I could respond, Nikki spoke up. âWell, there was that one time after you and Rory got into that fight...â
Jared snorted with laughter and I glared at my best friend.  âBob took the news really well, actually. He is happy for us. He is juggling next weekâs shooting schedule so Jared can come to the doctor with me.â
Nikki surprised us both by suddenly bursting into noisy, wet tears.
âNik, are you okay? Whatâs wrong?â Jared asked, coming behind her and resting his chin on the top of her head. He was so much bigger than her it was almost comical to see them stand next to each other.
âItâs just....Our kids are gonna grow up together. I never thought Iâd get married, let alone have a kid. Now I get to work with my best friend and go through motherhood with her. I just need a moment.â
I smiled at her happily. âThere is no other lunatic I would want to go through this with. I canât wait.â
Geminiâs POV
Kelly Kline came to me again in my dreams that night. I was alone when I drifted off to sleep, but suddenly I sensed the presence of another in the room, and my eyes popped open.
âHello, Gemini,â Kelly whispered.
âI sat up and glared at her. âI already talked to Sam and Dean. Neither of them is happy about this, especially Dean.â
She gave me a sad smile.  âI wish there was another way. I am going to try and find Jack. I donât know if it will work, but he is very powerful, and our bond is strong.â
My eyes softened at her determination. âI know you are convinced he is good, but what if Lucifer has already corrupted him? What then?â
âI have to try.â Was all she said.
âYou do what you have to do. Iâm tired. Iâd like to go back to sleep now.â I laid back down and closed my eyes, and when I opened them again, it was morning.
Kelly was able to use her bond with Jack to locate him. She wasnât about to let a little thing like being dead keep her from her son. If there was any way she could help save him, she would do whatever it took.
She found Jack sleeping in Luciferâs latest hideout, being watched over by Leo. He couldnât see her, so she slipped into the room and entered Jackâs dream.
Jack was suddenly being rocked gently in warm, comfortable arms. He couldnât see the face of the lady in white who was holding him, but he knew she was a friend. âHi, Jack. Iâm your Mom. And Iâm going to do whatever I can to make sure nothing bad happens to you, People are going to assume things about you because you are the son of Lucifer. But you are also MY son. You are good, I know you are.âÂ
The baby smiled in his dream. He wanted to be good. He didnât want to hurt anyone.
Kelly smoothed his tuft of hair away from his face. âSome friends of mine are coming to get you. You need to be away from your Dad for you to have any chance to find your good side. So donât be afraid. Sam, Dean, and Gemini will take good care of you. Do everything you can to help them get you out of here quickly and easily, okay? I love you, my son.â
And then the lady in white was gone, and Jack cried because he wanted her to come back and rock him some more.
Readerâs POV
We had just received the next two scripts and there was some big stuff in store for Supernatural. One characterâs storyline was being wrapped up and their time on the show was coming to an end. A new actor was starting on the show that was going to figure prominently in the future storyline. I couldnât wait to see how everything panned out.
Gemini was starting to show, so now I had to wear a little prosthetic belly when we were filming. Jared loved it and he couldnât stop touching and rubbing it during takes.Â
After I had blown my third take in a row, I yelled to Rich, who was directing the episode. âJared keeps rubbing my belly! Make him stop!â
Jensen rolled his eyes.  âItâs FAKE, asshole. Sheâll have a real one soon enough. Quit it, Iâm tired and I wanna go home.â
Misha grinned at Jared conspiratorially. âItâs hard to resist, isnât it? Nikki asked me how I would like it if she rubbed my balls all the time and I said, âyes, please.â
The three of them laughed like teenagers while I glowered at them. âWhat are you three, like fifteen years old? Seriously! None of you would last five minutes in this thing. Itâs hot as hell and it itches like a mother!â
âWhat are you gonna do when itâs a real belly you canât take off, Y/N?â Jensen said with a smirk. Are we gonna have to listen to you complain for the next 8 months? Danneel carried twins and never complained once!â
âBullshit!â I said vehemently. Nikki had come on set to give me a message, walking into the end of the conversation.
âTotal bullshit, Jensen. She just didnât want to hurt your tender feelings. Being as round as you are tall is NOT fun. Not at all.â
âOkay, Kids,â Rich yelled.  âCan we just agree to disagree and get back to work?â
Gemini's POV
I stumbled into the kitchen for coffee, answering Deanâs âgood morningâ with a barely audible grunt.
âYouâre a ball of sunshine this morning.â He quipped.
âSorry, Iâm a little cranky. I canât seem to get a full nightâs sleep anymore without someone showing up in my dreams. Itâs becoming a nightly occurrence. Missouri, Lucifer, Rowena....and now Kelly wonât leave me alone. Iâm pregnant for Peteâs sake! Why wonât people just let me sleep!â I flung myself into a chair and drank my coffee slowly. Â
âWant some pancakes?â Dean offered with a sympathetic smile.
âIs there bacon?â I asked hopefully.
Dean rolled his eyes at me.  âDo you know me? Of course, there is bacon, woman! I gotta keep m nephew fed. Sammy should be back from his run any minute. Give me fifteen minutes, okay?â He went to get the pancakes started, and I started off into space.
A short while later Sam came in from his run and grabbed a bottle of water.  âBreakfast will be ready in five,â Dean told his brother.
âI donât think Gem will be eating,â Sam said with a soft smile.  âCome and see.â
The brothers walked out to the table, stopping when they saw me sound asleep, my head cradled in my arms, snoring softly.
I was dreaming again. I was still sitting at the table enjoying my coffee, but now Kelly was with me, her serene smile pissing me off due to my sleep deprivation. âDonât you have a heaven to be at or something?â I said sourly.
âI know where Jack is.â She replied calmly as my heart gave a sickening lurch in my chest.
