Welcome to Valvesque microfic, one teenage girl's effort to inspire and share Hazel Levesque/Leo Valdez fics and fanart. the idea is simple (and heavily borrowed, see acknowledgements): I post prompts, you create Valvesque works based on those prompts, I share your works, I feel joy when I see increased Valvesque content on my dashboards! rules and guidelines below.
How it works:
I post at least one one-word prompt every week you create Valvesque-centric fanwork based on that prompt
you tag @valvesque-microfics in your post with
your work (or a link to it on ao3 Or wattpad I'm not picky!)
I reblog your post and say nice things about it other people reblog your post and say nice things about it!
what counts as a fill
microfics (50 words or less) and other short fiction, art, gifs, edits, epic poetry, macramé, interpretive dance, whatever you can think of.
all forms of fanwork encouraged!
see that word limit? not a rule. barely even aguideline. write however many words you want, no one is ever going to be mad to see more Valvesque words!
okay why say 50 words at all then? to encourage participation! who can't write 50 words you got this, it's like five sentences (or one if you're handy with a comma). Also it's a fun challenge! (You got this babes)
no obligation to complete a fill for every prompt.
No limit to number of fills per prompt.
No prompt expiration date!
The rules
must be Valvesque-centric! that doesn't necessarily mean romantic/sexual, we welcome explorations of all dynamics. it should not heavily feature Hazel and/or Leo in other ships, unless future/endgame Valvesque is implied.
no rating/content restrictions. make what you want to make, tag it appropriately, we will also tag it appropriately. we recommend including a rating and major content warnings at the top of your post as well, but it's not required.
