ART AT THE RENDON presents the multi-sensory event HIDDEN ROOMS. Curated by Cindy Schwarzstein of Cartwheel Art, this one day community celebration features over 50 renowned artists and performers who will transform the historic Rendon hotel, located in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District, into a fully immersive art experience.

VALTD‘s “Victorinettes: Saintly Defaced” installation will be an observation of the redundant and frivolous lifestyle quintessentially represented by Marie Antoinette and so many generations thereafter. Freed from the chains of time, resurrected and now defaced, these Victorinettes bring together two seemingly opposing worlds, bound together in their own fashionable way. Guests will be invited to partake in the destruction and reemergence of this Victorian culture.

VALTD is an international art duo originally from Los Angles using acrylic, oil, graphite, laser-jet, lithograph, silkscreen, spray paint, paint pens, 3D & Post FX digital mediums. VALTD combines their personal & professional experiences in drawing, painting, photography, film, graphic design, surf/skate art, contemporary art, architecture & industrial design.  Having lived in Europe for the last two+ years, VALTD has been able to gather inspiration from the chaos, beauty, history and culture of both the new and old World. VALTD is happy to now be back in their home town of LA, bringing their vision to an even wider audience.
