BusRiderDiary 08-23-2016 #4 Roosevelt The 6 Orchard departed right at 18:45:01, so I was forced to catch the 4, which was delayed by a traffic light at 8th and Idaho. The Bus Captain was disapproving. Ask me if I care? I don't. He gets back to the bus barn a little later now. This is the last run of the day on this route. Just like the 6 Orchard, and the 5 Emerald, and all the other second class bench bus routes. I get to walk about a mile after I get left off, but that's ok. It's a nice walk. You ask if this will ever change? I doubt that it will. The sprawl merchants, car dealers, and republicans hold sway here, and cutting routes is the way of the future everywhere. Nobody's going to have a job soon anyway, so what's the point? Poor people are just marks and excess population anyway, right?

Why do Boise buses always stop at train tracks? And open their door? It’s weird.
