Valentine’s Weekend
For some, it was spent with their SO. For some, with their family or friends. For some, just by themselves.
I got a message yesterday morning saying, “Happy Single Awareness Day!” which I replied, “Happy Valentine’s!”
I got this response, “Aba may ka date!” (Wow, she has a date!) I told him that just because my response wasn’t the same as his, he already assumed I had. LOL!!!! And he said that the only people who greets “Happy Valentine’s” are the only people who have a date. He was making it fun but there was a hint of bitterness and wanting me to tell the truth about my status. (Seriously, he can just ask me straight and make his real intentions known.. 🤦🏻♀️))
Well, Valentine’s day isn’t just about the couples and having dates. It’s about celebrating the love you give to your family, friends, your business and most importantly, to yourself.
It’s just a simple weekend celebration that some (some, okay? I didn’t generalize) love turning it to something they abhor. LOL! This people.
And it’s your choice to make it fancy at the restaurant or just at the comfort of your own home --- watching some movie on Netflix or...sleeping. 😁
I hope you had a good weekend.
