Why don’t you like that AfterElton is making money? I’ve heard a couple of people say this and I was just wondering what the reasoning behind it is.

I’m pretty glad they’re earning a little extra from this. It’s the least they deserve for hosting this kind of madness. :P
- First of - I'll say that if the ad had been unrelated to the two shows/owners/tv-stations, I would never have bothered writing about this. - It is not as much about Afterelton as it is about exploitation of fans. Furthermore I know the poll has given many a fan (on each side of the fence) grief, so I feel abit bitter about it all right now. -
The thing is that it's really just a personal opinion of mine regarding moral, etiquette and stuff like that - All things that are hard to explain (Especially since english is not my first language)...
I realize I'm going to sound REALLY old and boring saying this - and I WILL end up somewhat off-topic - but I think that the core reason behind my last post is complicated like that - and very very much, just my personal opinions.

I don't like that this friendship-game/turnament has product-placement. I don't like that the people behind the scene get involved money-wise (here MTV, but really, had it been CW I would still feel the same - not good - about it).
-
It's something personal to me - like for example - I dislike gossip-news and paparazzi - I hate reality shows and 'x-factor'/'idols'/'popstars'/stuff like that.
I don't like dishonesty - and TO ME - it feels wrong to see MTV ads there while at the same time, MTV promotes the poll and ask THEIR fans to go visit the Afterelton site - Thus indirectly promoting them self (the MTV ads).

It feels dishonest to me, that is all I can say. I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I'm pretty peaceful most of the time. ;P
