København
This weekend again I thought hey lets go away again. The semester is coming to crunch time......so this past weekend was the last time I could get away. Copenhagen it was. The best 48 hours ever. It reminded me of like a cool old Melbourne and everyone is sooo fashionable. The food ugh was amazing. So much variety. We took the bikes (which are electric by the way and are so much fun) and made it to our airbnb apartment. Which, again, I highly recommend this site. Then we found paddle boats and sat in the the wondrous sun for ages and recharged out batteries. It was a fabulous. We then went to the colourful houses in Nyhaven. So so busy but awesome vibe. Then we ventured to Tivoli. I wanted to keep telling myself rides were my thing, but i seriously struggled. While my friends were on the rides I enjoyed the fun environment and ice cream that the park had to offer. The next day we went to the free tours that are held in each major city (I highly recommend they are great, http://www.neweuropetours.eu). It was a great way to learn about little secrets. Then we hit up the free town of Christiania. Actually really nice place and the Green Light was interesting and I think needs to be seen buttttt maybe not at night. Then we hit up the food hall, FORGIVE ME, I can't actually remember the name of the food hall but if you find it. Ugh amazing fresh fresh food!
It is amazing how close this is to Jönköping. All together I think travel time to Copenhagen is 3 hrs. And its super duper easy with the fast trains. It was a quick trip and I would love to stay longer and I will defiantly be back. My tip would be save your $$$$$. Watch them, because it is an expensive city.
