continuing the Valheim fic because there’s fuck all else to do and it’s endearing to me how obvious the The Road writing style influence is dkgkdkg. I think there’s a little Bedlam Stacks in there too to be fair though, esp the Raphael flashback scenes
Anyway the basic premise is that he (my player character) has awoken again after being dormant for who knows how long, and his companion (Raz’s player character) is nowhere to be found. He’s weak and disoriented and nearly dies wandering around trying to find his companion, but a kind stranger (Adrian’s character) takes him in and helps him recuperate. Then he goes back home and finds that the land has changed and nothing is as it was, and begins to suspect that his companion has gone on to Valhalla while he’s been reborn again
All of which is just a way of saying “the old save with Raz is gone and I made a new character to play with Adrian so I had 0 experience/skills” DKGKDKG
also nobody has a name (except possibly Adrian’s character but I need to check with it first) and there’s barely any dialogue unless he’s alone and talking to serpents. Amazing
