I've really had to think about this one ngl. She's pretty infamous on the citadel so I think there's some social media account that's kind of like a "what's shep up to?" that a very overbearing fan posts updates on where she's at with pictures. Anyway all this to say that there's multiple pics of her buying cigarettes and fornax mags. I think Joker follows the account and will just send her a message each time going "Damn, another one?" with the picture attached. She starts wearing wigs and disguises, but it doesn't help.

Thank you for the ask! Val would treat grocery shopping as a mission. No dillydallying, absolutely straight to the point. So I think Grunt would be a no go for joining on grocery trips. I just see him as wanting to go down every aisle and she would HATE that. She has a list and wants to get in and get out.

My Shepard as a ball joint doll inspired by the opening scene of Coraline and the song Doll Parts by Hole. Shepard being put back together during ME2 for other people's gain and benefit holds so much emotional weight that doesn't get touched on in the games and I think about it so much,,

Thanks for the ask!! She doesn't remember right right away, through a combination of not being able to and not wanting to. Over the course of ME2 it slowly comes back to her, but she really represses it. She's definitely the type that prioritizes the mission over her own feelings. I think it probably culminates into a really bad time for her during house arrest between ME2 and ME3 because she's finally in a place where she has to confront it and process those feelings.

Thank you for the ask! I think in ME1 it starts out with Wrex and Kaidan. She is extremely competitive and wants as much diversity in training as possible. So sparring with a krogan and a biotic helps out a lot with that. By ME2 she is more so wanting to spend time with a familiar face so Garrus is her go to and i think that's how they really get to know each other. In ME3 though she has too many feelings for Garrus and feels herself holding back during sparring for fear of hurting him and i think she senses the same from him. So they'll still spar but she has Ashley as a full out sparring partner. They see each other as equals now and honestly probably relieve some of the tension of their relationship from ME2 by getting some good hits in. Not healthy i know, but my Shepard is not good with talking about her feelings so I imagine she's able to drop that guard and be more vulnerable in close combat like that.

Thanks for the question! I think she's the type to have the tv on for background noise while she's working on something by herself. She probably goes for those long-form videos of people walking around cities with go pros or bird feeder cameras but for pyjaks. I imagine by ME3 though she's fallen out of habit of it as it offers more of a reminder of what is at stake.
