Seeing some people say Vaggie’s original backstory of being a murdered prostitute doesn’t work at all with her being an ex-exterminator, but if the show hadn’t gone full, ‘Exorcists are Heavenborn’ like they seem to be implying, they could have had both backstories and made it work pretty well.

Having Adam recruit murdered and abused women as a way for them to, kind of take vengeance on the sorts of people who hurt them in life, would have been a really interesting direction if the writing was focused enough.
