A scorpion (Pseudouroctonus sp.) in New Mexico, USA
by Alan Cressler
Vaejovis granulatus
A scorpion endemic to Mexico. It is found at altitudes ranging from 1600 to 2400 m s. n.m., where the dominant vegetation type is oak pine forest. Their habits are nocturnal, so during the day they take refuge under large stones and trunks.
