My wife and I are and wrapping a wonderful little vacation. We explored a new city, ate some great food, we saw friends.
It's the first I'd say real deal of 'travel' we've done since we've gotten married, and travel aside I'd say it's the first time we've ever done a vacation where we didn't have to worry about every cent spent. A vacation, relatively, challenge free.
It was nice. It was refreshing. My wife loved it and I want to do it with her again.
But while it was great, what I can't wait for the most right now is for us to be home, in our own bed tonight.

no matter where i am , if there's awesome hiking trails you know i gotta check em out. i was out and about for hours , ooohing and aaaahhing at every shrub and mushroom on the way lmfao— as i said , we value wondrous old man energy on here.
also happy 8 years clean to me , wahoo! to me nothing really compares to experiencing the world in all the vibrancy it has to offer. and i think it's also disappointing that so much prejudice and shame still surrounds the topic , even more so than mental illness on it's own. in any case , i'm proud and grateful. also ... no power on this planet could make me hate addicts , the homeless or people in bad spots. when i say my blog's a safe space i mean it— so lemme share this to make a point , i guess. it's just an rp blog , but we still meet as people , don't we?
