Smelling the blood even before she rounded the corner, Elena grabbed some basics from the nearby cart and walked over to the waiting area. The injury she saw didn’t quite seem as bad as she thought though. If her nose had told her anything, there had been a lot more blood loss than what this suggested. Or maybe she was just losing her touch.
“So what happened?” she questioned as she gestured for the redhead to follow her into the nearest examination room.
