I've always wanted to make an rpg game, and have a huge love for rpg maker games. I've had plans for object based ones before (In fact, its what kickstarted me making object ocs in the first place!) The game I want to make is a long way off though, it could easily take years. You may be thinking why am I bringing this up at all?
Well I want to make a small V9 game to practice using the program and test out mechanics I want to carry over into the real one! V9 just offers the perfect setting for me, it's familiar and fairly fleshed out, I understand the characters and I have plenty of angles to take for a simple test story.
Talking about this early before I even get close to starting since posting a million little updates is what keeps me going sometimes ! And it won't stop me from progressing the actual comic of course Notes: -Game is not canon! It will be in an almost "parallel" universe, which does mean many deceased characters will be alive and you'll be able to explore and possibly even impact the story in major ways -Player character is Canvas, who may cameo from time to time in the real comic for fun but won't be joining the vault in canon. They don't have a specific personality since that will be very dependent on how you play and the choices you make -The setting will be the vault and territory from the comic, and characters from the comic -Minimum goal: Walkable map of the vault itself and major territory location with some test dialogue and interactive items. Larger goal is a somewhat short game (Maybe a few hours for a playthrough?) with a few different endings -Game will be free of course always (even if it evolves to be something larger) , play testing will likely be offered and also there is no gaurantee it will be completed -New tag V9RPG
