I wish June had never happened. I wish we could talk like we used to. I wish we had never had that conversation, that we had never crossed that line.

You decided surrounding yourself with people who want to fuck you was more important than the one person in your life who actually gave a shit about your mental and emotional well being.

I hope you find someone like me again. I hope you learned your lesson and you treat them with all the love and respect in the world. I hope you’re learning and growing and evolving as a person, and that you won’t make the same mistakes.

I wasn’t the best friend I could’ve been, but I was a damn good one and you took advantage of that. This experience has taught me better communicators skills, and I’m adding more red flags to my collection. Hopefully I’ll recognize them next time.

I wish the best for you. I don’t wish any ill will on you, because that wouldn’t help you. I want you to succeed and thrive in life. Maybe with time, we can come back with our friendship and try again. I don’t think that should be soon, though.
