@theultimateupgrade wants to meet Miss Razor
“So, this is the very best this generation of Cybermen has to offer,” Miss Razor mused, tilting her head to one side as she scanned the ranks of silver metal men lined up on the screen before her. She wrinkled her nose. “Not very impressive, are you? But you’ll have to do.”
Her heels clicked sharply on the floor as she paced in front of the station’s console. The invasion force’s ship had appeared in the skies above the planet only moments ago, and the communications signal had beamed through only moments later. She had opened the comms line more out of curiosity than anything else, and now stood in the center of the control station of the planet below, watching the Cybermen through the video uplink beaming down from the ship. Upgrade or Die -- the usual Cybermen dog and pony show. Honestly, what she wouldn’t give for something a little more original. Evidently, Cybermen didn’t do original any more than they did feelings, humor, or even surprising.
“Right then! Which one of you is in charge?” she asked, turning sharply back to face the camera, pressing her palms against the console. “Come on, somebody has to be the leader here... I know it’s one of you... Somewhere, deep down, each and every one of you can still remember being-... whatever humanoid thing you were before the assimilation... ONE of you must be better than the others. Somebody had to have been stronger. Faster. Smarter. So which one of you is in charge? It’s alright! You can tell me... Think of me as like... your cool cousin. I’m like you -- but better in every way. Upgraded, if you like.” She tapped a manicured nail against her chest unit, letting the sharp metallic sound ring throughout the room. “So out with it. Who’s in charge?”
