4:16pm(Taehyung)
(A/N: this is a teeny bit rushed, but I thought it was cute)
A low rumble of thunder rolled overhead as rain pattered against the umbrella you were both huddled under as you walked though the park. So much for the picnic idea.
You're pulled out of your thoughts and back to the present by a gentle tug on your hand, glancing up to meet his deep brown eyes as he gave you a reassuring smile.
"It'll clear up soon, don't worry." He said, as much for his benefit as yours. He'd been so busy lately that you'd barely seen each other and, although you'd been more than understanding, he felt guilty and wanted to give you a nice afternoon together.
"I don't really mind," You told him, "I like rain." No sooner had you spoken than it began to pick up intensity, pouring down and splattering up from the sidewalk, the noise of it hitting the umbrella so loud you could barely hear Tae's continued attempts of "it's fine!" "Don't worry!", though you could heard the frustration beginning to creep into his voice.
"Tae." You tried, pulling him to a stop.
He sighed. "It wasn't supposed to rain till later." He said disappointedly, staring out across the now soaked field.
"Tae." You said more firmly, drawing his gaze back to you as you cupped his check. "It's okay," You smiled and gave him a small peck. "Let's go home."
"But you wanted-"
"I want to be with you. I don't care if it's here or wherever. So long as you're with me, I'm happy, no matter what we do." You said, earning a soft smile from him at last.
"Okay," he nodded. "Let's go home."
The two of you half ran back to your apartment and had your picnic on the living room floor, eventually dozing off on the couch as it continued to pour outside. As he watched your sleeping form snuggle closer to his side, he couldn't help but grin. You were right. It didn't matter what or where. All that mattered was you and him.
