I swear, nobody on Tumblr is talking about underwater hockey, so let me give you an elevator pitch.
There are hot guys
There are hot girls
Everyone gets wasted after practice
You get to swim fast like a mermaid
It's small enough that technique trumps physical strength
It's an incredibly small community that is really easy to know
Lots of the new generation are queerdos like me and the old guard are generally cool with it
I get to wear boyshorts and not be judged
Compared to other niche sports, it's not that expensive
It's international, very popular in South America and Europe
