Phase 90 on Fuzzdog board. Wanted to build one of these for ages and despite having made a couple of other more complex phasers (Lovetone Doppelgänger) Iâve found myself wanting something simpler. Itâs such a classic phaser sound and nice and minimal so just what I was after and takes up less space on my board!
Decided to give Taydaâs UV enclosure printing service a go and I am really impressed with the results I have to say! For the price and how quickly they turn it around plus no minimum order itâs really pretty amazing! The artwork required a bit more effort when compared to etching but it was totally worth it IMO!
The Wall Is No Longer Just a Wall
For a long time, walls were just⌠walls.
They were backgrounds. Something to paint, cover, or decorate with a few pictures.
But things are changing.
More people are starting to see walls as part of the experience of a space. A blank surface can become a brand story, a personal memory, or even a piece of artwork.
That is where the idea of a wall printing machine becomes interesting.
It is not just another decoration tool. It is a different way of thinking about how spaces can be designed.
From simple decoration to custom spaces
Traditional decoration usually follows a familiar process.
Choose a paint color.
Pick a wallpaper pattern.
Hang some artwork.
These methods work, but they also have limits.
A wallpaper design may look great today, but replacing it later can be time-consuming. Hand-painted murals can be beautiful, but they often require skilled artists and longer project timelines.
A wall printing machine brings another option.
Instead of adding something on top of the wall, it allows digital designs to become part of the surface itself.
A simple wall can become:
⨠A large-scale artwork ⨠A company branding wall ⨠A creative children's room ⨠A themed restaurant interior ⨠A unique home feature wall
The possibilities are much wider than traditional decoration.
Your ideas are no longer limited by materials
One of the most interesting things about wall printing is the freedom of design.
A photo from a family trip.
A detailed illustration.
A modern abstract pattern.
A company logo.
Almost any digital design can become part of the environment.
This changes the relationship between people and their spaces.
Instead of searching for a decoration that âfitsâ the room, the room itself can be designed around personal ideas.
Why businesses are paying attention
For commercial spaces, visual impact matters.
A cafĂŠ wants customers to remember the atmosphere.
A retail store wants its branding to stand out.
A hotel wants guests to have a unique experience.
In these situations, empty walls are not just empty space. They are opportunities.
A wall printing machine helps businesses create customized environments without depending on complicated construction or long decoration periods.
And when the design needs to change, digital files make updates much easier.
More than walls
Another interesting development is that printing is no longer limited to vertical surfaces.
With technologies like wall and floor printing, creative ideas can move beyond one wall and become part of the entire space.
A design can continue from a wall onto a floor, creating a more immersive feeling.
The room becomes one connected visual experience.
The future of interior creativity
The biggest change brought by wall printing is not only the technology itself.
It is the idea behind it.
Walls are no longer just backgrounds.
They can tell stories.
They can represent brands.
They can preserve memories.
They can completely change how a space feels.
A wall printing machine gives designers, businesses, and homeowners a new way to imagine interiors.
And honestly, that might be the most exciting part.
The future of decoration may not be about adding more things into a room.
It may be about transforming what is already there.

Iâd love to become a proper european manufacturer for artists in the near future, but there is one code I havenât cracked yet, and thatâs keychains. Since they come in contact with keys, we need to protect the print so it doesnât shave off. Most people sandwich them with another piece of acrylic, others use resin. I feel like Iâm really close to finding the way to do this best.

This Is Why 3D Wall Prints Look So Real
A lot of people see a 3D wall printer for the first time and assume the effect is just a visual trick.
Sometimes it is.
But sometimes the wall actually has texture.
That is the part many people do not expect.
It is not only about the artwork
Good perspective, shadows, and lighting already make a wall feel deeper. A flat image can still create a strong 3D illusion if the design is done well.
But modern 3D wall printer systems can go further than that.
They can build up real texture directly on the surface by layering UV ink multiple times in the same area.
That is how certain logos, patterns, and decorative details end up looking slightly raised instead of completely flat.
The texture comes from layered ink
The process is actually pretty interesting.
A 3D wall printer prints one layer of UV ink, then quickly cures it with UV light before printing the next layer. Because the ink hardens almost immediately, the layers stay separated instead of blending together.
So the texture slowly builds upward.
Most projects do not need huge thickness. In fact, many setups usually stack no more than about five layers. That is already enough to create visible depth and a subtle embossed feel.
People sometimes call this a â2.5D effectâ because it sits somewhere between a flat print and a real physical object.
Precision matters a lot
The textured effect only works if the layers line up correctly.
That is why a 3D wall printer relies heavily on precise printhead movement and stable ink placement. Even small shifts can make the texture look messy or uneven.
And then there is the wall itself.
Real walls are rarely perfectly flat. Some have slight texture. Some have waves or uneven areas. During printing, the system needs to maintain a stable gap between the printhead and the surface.
That is where automatic sensors come in.
Many modern 3D wall printer setups use built-in sensing systems that help adjust printhead height while printing. This helps avoid collisions and keeps the layered texture more consistent across the wall.
Why people like the effect so much
The result feels different from normal wall graphics.
A textured logo catches light differently. Raised patterns feel more premium. Even small embossed details can make a cafĂŠ, store, or branded space feel more custom and immersive.
That is probably why textured wall printing keeps showing up in more interior projects lately.
It turns walls into something people actually notice.
