Okay, this song is currently making my world.
Why?
Because sheer talent and hilarity aside (not to mention being one hell of an ear worm), these guys managed to capture my home city in a way Hollywood wishes it could.
No, seriously! Anyone setting a film here shows you the Space Needle, runs a sprinkler in front of the camera and goes “See? We’re in Seattle. Ignore the sagebrush and cactus.”
These guys captured the city in FOUR references, one is so dang subtle that if you don’t know what it’s referring to, you’ll miss it. Not even a mention of the Space Needle, but there is no question, even without being told where you are, that you are in Seattle.
Come the spring I am reborn The wind lays down beside me My dream already faded
Oh come the spring I’ll live again The blackened ice is melting Swirling in my eyes
This song is perfect for this time of the year. :’)
bless zankyou no terror

Is this what love feels like?
I just ate sushi at my favorite Japanese restaurant.
I Love The Hobbit.
I really do. I was reading it last night and became just as caught up and enchanted by the story as ever I was. People can discount it, call it flippant, and say it pales in comparison to the masterpiece that is Lord of the Rings, but I think it's perfectly delightful and charming. I love it just as much as Lord of the Rings, in a different way. The Lord of the Rings is epic, true, but The Hobbit just seems more carefree and joyful, and I like that. I feel happy when I read it. It's not concerned with overly weighty matters, but that's just as it should be. It's a children's story, but that almost seems an unfair label; for while it has all the cheer and lightheartedness of a story for children, I think I enjoy it more now that I'm older and can enjoy the subtleties of the humor. (And the humor is uproarious.)
Leo will always show their true & utter love for their loved ones & want understanding in return.
