It will take a while for my fics to finally be updated, but just know... they're coming. Euphoria may be done (with whatever the hell season 3 was) but I'm not done yet. Besides, I know everyone needs a palate cleanser after that entire season and finale. So.... here are a few excerpts from the new chapters of my Euphoria "Up To Heaven and Down To Hell" spinoff fanfics, both of which are still in development. Plus, a sneak peek of my brand new untitled Euphoria fanfic that is also in development.
Purgatory (featuring Maddy Perez- Details "The Organization's" first divorce in 1975.)
Cassie noticed and thought that Maddy was touched by her words, when in reality... Maddy teared up for a much darker reason... the fact that she couldn't tell her best friend who cared about her, what was really going on, was ripping her apart on the inside.
Then, the phone rang and Maddy froze instantly. She turned to gaze at the ringing white rotary phone and stared at it with a brief look of horror.
Pure dread took ahold of Maddy's entire body, and caused her to stiffen.
Cassie noticed her best friend's reaction to the phone simply ringing and she raised a brow.
"Are... you okay?" She asked.
"Huh? Uh... yeah. No, I'm fine. Why?"
"Your... phone is ringing and you're not answering it."
Genesis (featuring Ashtray O'Neill, Gia Bennett, Lexi Howard, Fezco O'Neill, Rue Bennett- A teenage couple goes on the run in the sequel to Up To Heaven and Down To Hell. Set in 1978.)
Sensing the tension in the room, Lexi went to the door.
"I'm gonna go check on Gia and Maddy. I'll leave you two alone to talk." She said before leaving the motel room.
Nothing but silence engulfed the room as Ashtray and Fez stared at each other wordlessly... until Fez finally spoke.
"I don't think I've ever been so fucking mad and disappointed witchu in all my years of being your fuckin' brother Ash."
Ashtray already felt bad, but his brother chastising him... he didn't fucking need that right now.
"I mean you really fucked up this time and-"
"Shut the fuck up bro!" Ashtray interrupted his brother from continuing to speak.
"Have you lost your damn mind!?"
"No! Actually I feel way more sane than I have in a long fucking time, and you got Gia to thank for that."
Brand new untitled Euphoria fanfic (A sneak peek at a flashback sequence! The plot is still being worked on but it's going to be set in modern day and loosely based off of The Stepford Wives.)
She never regretted the first time she picked up the phone to receive his call from prison. At the time she thought she would've... but, she didn't. Old unspoken feelings came back and even though their time on the phone was limited... it was all worth it.
It was a couple of months into his prison sentence, high-school graduation was a month away and she made the decision to visit him after he had finally been given visitation rights. She was his first visitor, which had honestly taken Fez aback. He thought she'd be too busy to see him, but Lexi made time.
The visitation room was cold, grungy, the picnic tables were made of hard white plastic and the two of them had been given thirty minutes. What could they talk about for thirty minutes straight? What could they do for thirty minutes straight?

Whelp, Euphoria season 3 is airing in minus three hours in my timezone and I'll be watching each week and possibly updating my fics due to if I get inspo from the episodes or not. Or perhaps I'll be adding new fics to my ao3 soon... we'll see. Anyways, expect a lot of posts from me after the episode airs because I may or may not have a lot to say. Up To Heaven And Down To Hell's sequel series Genesis is coming back and I will continue writing the prequel Purgatory!
I've been super busy this past year and I know I haven't updated anything for a year but Genesis chapter 2 is coming soon and the sequel will continue from there as well as the prequel Purgatory which will be a shorter fanfic, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things with writing Euphoria fanfics, so stay tuned!
I've been wracking my brain for how I want the series to go forward and it just occurred to me that instead of there being so many individual spinoffs that could risk me spreading myself too thin and losing muse, instead I'm going to put all the spinoffs into Genesis. This means that...
We're going to see flashbacks of Faye with Custer on their journey to California and their adventures in California that we didn't see in the original Up To Heaven and Down To Hell fanfic. They're going to reminisce back on their crazy trip in the present day which is 1978 (the same year Genesis is set in).
We're going to finally get Rue x Elliot x Jules in Tennessee.
Maddy's individual story Purgatory will continue and it will also be sprinkled in flashbacks throughout Genesis.
We'll see Marie's backstory in Genesis through flashbacks as well.
Kat and Ethan will be going on their baby making journey throughout Genesis.
Ali might finally make a move with Leslie at some point in Genesis.
Cassie will be enjoying her new single mother life and we'll see how she's doing with Baby Charlie and her new friend McKay... or will Cassie and McKay become more than friends? Who knows...?
We'll be seeing more of Fez and Lexi's married life.
Ash and Gia's relationship will definitely be the main focus.
Up To Heaven and Down To Hell was not the last we've seen of the Jacobs Family... in fact, we'll see them reappear at some point in Genesis.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this rather detailed update for Genesis and another update is that Genesis is a spiritual sequel to the original Up To Heaven and Down To Hell. It may or may not be the actual sequel depending on how I feel to be honest.
As for Purgatory, that story is still ongoing as well as Genesis. Neither story has ended I just needed a bit of a break, but now I'm back and I'll be working on the UTHDTH Series and updating the Spotify Playlist eventually.
