An irritated Uthalian warrior. While they can be respectful neighbors, present day Uthalians prefer to keep their distance from other sentient species. Opting to construct their coastline settlements far from the established cities under Oriancari watch, mostly due to a long held distrust of their precursor counterparts. They provide plenty of warning to trespassers. But invade one of these spaces, intentionally or not, and the welcome you receive may not be the most pleasant.Ā
True Uthalian bonds are sacred and they never forget a slight. Due to the interconnected memories that link individuals of a single colony, a connection that circulates around a colonyās queen. Something that not only gives them zero privacy (which they donāt seem to mind), but also allows them to infinitely remember long forgotten histories. In a sense, Uthalians hold no secrets in their society. Wrong even one of them and the rest of their colony will instantly know of it. This mindset doesnāt exactly help to ease their wariness of strangers. Their ancestorsā memories are their own, and they remember what youāve forgotten.Ā
First time painting one of these guys. Had a lot of fun interpreting contours from past sketches.Ā
