  “What is King doing?” Nossan asked, baffled at the scene of King and Mini Tyra staring each other down and roaring at each other’s faces.

  “They’re having a roaring competition.” Souji said with a roll of his eyes.

  “Mou! Why are they being so noisy?” Amy groaned, covering her ears. Her German homework was spread out before her and she was unable to concentrate on it, no thanks to a certain Kyoryu Red and his shrunken ZyuDenRyuu. 

  “Oh my.” Ian threw up his hands. “I propose we leave the base and let them have it.”

  “Agreed.” Amy immediately collected her work, stuffed it in her bag and left the base. Ian, Souji, and Nossan were not far behind her.

  *A few minutes later*

  “Apologies for being late. I was caught up in training…” Utchy trailed off when he realized there was no one else in the Spirit base other than King who was still roaring with Mini Tyra. The gold samurai scratched his head in confusion. “King-dono? What are you doing?”

  King and Mini Tyra paused their competition to look at the gold samurai and the former grinned. “Oh Utchy! Good timing! Mini Tyra and I are trying to see who can roar the loudest. We need you to judge.”

  “Ah.” Utchy rubbed his chin in thought. “If I have to say, Ptetarodon is louder than the two of you combined.”

  King and Mini Tyra’s jaws dropped in betrayal and disbelief. “No way! Gabutyra’s louder!”

  “Let’s put that to the test then.” Utchy’s lips twisted up in a rare moment of competitiveness. He cupped his mouth and let out a piercing shriek not dissimilar to his ZyuDenRyuu partner.

  King and Mini Tyra exchanged looks then nodded. They roared at Utchy who shrieked back at them. Thus the roaring competition continued, but with a new contestant.
