Breaking: ios users are not what you think they are 📱
Did some digging into where iPhone users actually spend their time and honestly? Mind = blown.
The breakdown that surprised me:
🎮 21% gaming (okay, saw that coming)
💼 10% business apps (WAIT WHAT)
📚 8% education
✨ 7% lifestyle
💪 6% health & fitness
🤷♀️ 48% everything else
That 10% business number is HUGE. Like, millions of people are actively trying to get work done on their phones.
Plot twist: Most companies are still thinking "mobile = casual browsing"
Meanwhile, iOS users are out here:
Managing entire projects on their phones
Making actual business decisions
Spending real money on solutions that make work easier
We had this B2B client who was like "nobody does business on mobile" and I was like "bet."
Built them a custom iOS business app.
Results: $2.1M in transactions in the first year. On mobile. For business stuff.
The real insight: iOS users aren't just scrolling mindlessly. They're actively solving problems and they have money to spend on good solutions.
Question for the void: What work thing do you wish you could do better on your phone?
