What's it about? Rak is in love with her dentist, Pam, but so is her brother, Kawi. Kawi asks Rak to paint pretty pictures for Pam and pretend they're from him. Rak feels guilty for the deception, but as it turns out, Pam hasn't been entirely truthful either.
Genre: romcom
Watch if you enjoy: Cute and fluffy. Family drama and some trauma. Problems solved in good and healthy ways (eventually). Feisty antagonist you want to hug, and douche antagonist you want to kick to the curb, and both those things happen. Coffee shop shenanigans (with no customers, IDK how they make money). Many cuddles. Massive amounts of product placement and PSAs on the importance of brushing your teeth.
Gayer version of: It has bits of both Cyrano and The Count of Monte Cristo, and yet it's so much softer than either. So, one of those high school remakes of classics, except with somewhat older characters.
Recommended? Maybe? The actors are good, the main story engaging, and the leads have good chemistry, but this is another case of "this didn't need to be 12 episodes". Pacing picks up in the later episodes, but even so, expect to spend significant chunks of time on cuddly product placement scenes. And just in general, it's a little bit too sweet for me, though it may be just up your alley.
