There is certainly something marvelous to be said about that chewy crunchiness of the crust on those edge and corner brownies, but I’m afraid they quite pale in comparison to those fortuitous few situated right in the center of the pan~! And I’m afraid I must admit to a fondness for baking my own brownies just to the point where their inclusion as a baked good is but polite formality, and they’re rather more akin to warm brownie batter, oho~”

The calm atmosphere around them was almost encapsulating for the Saiyan, trapping him in the moment with Uru.

There was no distractions for him now, nothing he could pull out of the blue to take his attention away from the tender moment of the picnic at sunset, just the moment there and now.

Scaro catches himself from letting his mind overthink the situation and instead takes matters into his hands, somewhat literally. Cupping Uru’s face with his somewhat rough hands and leaning in to give the Kai one hell of a kiss to finally show his affection and gratitude towards them.

It’s sloppy, that was a given due to his fangs and his lack of experience, but there was effort put into it and as the same with cooking a whole lot of heart.

Other than wearing a bodysuit as part of her usual getup for training and missions, Vivi didn’t have a lot of clothing that showed off her body for a while, sticking to plain shirts, long pants, and jackets to cover up her arms.

Hanging out with Urumisu- between their casual flirting (Read: Urumisu’s casual flirting and Vi’s flustered babbling) and the sweeter moments where she lets herself indulge in Uru momming her on her off-days - has been making Vivi feel a bit more willing to wear things like skirts and little dresses things that show off her legs, but she’s still shy about sleeveless things without something over it.

On the occasion the two are out and about, you can bet Vivi will inevitably look into a little boutique’s window for a dress that looks cute and end up being pulled in by Uru to go try it on and buy it.

Is it because she wants to look cute for Uru or herself? It might be because of just how confident, energetic, and genuine Urumisu is that, maybe, if just a little bit, Vi wants to be a bit more like them. And… maybe dressing up might help her feel a bit more comfortable with herself as time goes on.

“A kai? I think??”

It wasn’t often she saw a member of her boss’ race, nor did she expect to see one that was much taller than them too! 

She perched herself some distance away, trying to observe them. Though, even as she did, suddenly the superiority she felt over all the Kais she met melted away, and she was made aware again of how tiny she was. 

“Geez, guess that Kibito guy wasn’t an outlier...”
