Based on Maisie Mosco's stage play Happy Family, the satirical horror film Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny & Girly sees its dysfunctional family living in a semi-permanent state of infantilism in a Victorian fantasy world.
Sonny and Girly are teenagers, but dress and act like oversexed five-year-olds.
The teens habitually pick up strangers (all uniformly named "New Friend") and bring them to the house for deadly games.
Michael Bryant plays the latest "New Friend" - a male prostitute who is lured into their role-playing game and held prisoner until the time when he will inevitably be "sent to the angels".
But when Girly tries to play a new game called "Mothers and Fathers" with New Friend, it upsets the dynamic of the household and will inevitably prove their undoing.
