Got a bit stuck when rewriting and redoing Elenaās story, changing her to Nadijah, and making her the mother of the Bastet sisters. So I decided to play around in photoshop for a bit, experimenting with a few screens here and there. Juggling so many stories and ideas right now 8)
First set is of Sanir and ElenaĀ Nadijah Bastet. Enjoying how this one turned out, but think I couldāve timed the poses a bit better. Nadijah looks like sheās upset at Sanir.
Second, Sacrus and Caerys. Bless the embiggening tonic, as I can actually make Sacrus his true size.Ā
And third, Urfaust and Istia. Captain and Quartermaster of the Doom Warband. Iāve got the story for these two brewing, cataloging their fall at Port Stalwart, and their return from the Mists.

The Legionsā records say he was a successful privateer, captaining Doomās Conflagration. He led the Doom Warband, a small, ragtag group of misfits. In service, these individual members of the warband refused to fall in line, and in turn were dumped into a single warband -- shipped off for naval duty. Little did the Legions know, that that ugly bunch of charr would end up causing quite the ruckus overseas. The warband functioned better as a group than they did individually, but perhaps the close proximity of their quarters in that patchwork pinnance ship soothed heads. Perhaps it was their abomination of a captain. Either way, their success stops at Port Stalwart, a Human settlement that was occasionally used to resupply or moor in order to wait out storms or rough waves. Generally, we charr avoid human ports, but the Doom Warband was assigned an escort to the supply ship Fiercebladeās Vision.
Then the Dead Ships came and laid waste to the settlement. When word of Port Stalwartās destruction reached the Legions, we assumed the worse. Days later, the vessels were recorded to have not reached port⦠the crew of Fiercebladeās Vision, and the Doom Warband, were assumed KIA.
The Lionguard informed me of a āpolitical disturbanceā. In custody for public intoxication was a Charr no citizen had seen before. Witnesses and passersby spoke of a 'heavy magical disturbanceā followed by a large, angry Charr spewing profanities and trying to fight whatever was moving in its vicinity. Upon arriving at the scene, you could tell something was amiss. He spoke with an interesting dialect, and on top of that, he was using the same unstable Magics Etna possesses. I asked the Lionguard holding him to hand him over to me, to which they eagerly obliged.
Unfortunately, I couldnāt even get a 'Thanks.ā Upon his release, I took him to the Fahrar, and once he saw our cubs commingling with the Humans and the 'talking heads of lettuceā, he spat in my face and called me a traitor. I didnāt speak about Elena, lest I be branded a mousepouncer.. I attempted to speak with him about who he was. I tried telling him that he was most likely from another period of time, brought back through a rift in some sort of decaying magic. He wouldnāt have it. He refused to believe that he was a magic-user -- saying he couldnāt live down returning to the Legions as a sorcerer. He refused to believe this was a different Tyria, that the pirates and privateers he knew were dead and different.
I told him of the privateers of Bloodtide Coast, telling him to speak with them, maybe patch loose ends and catch up on happenings over the last 100 years. When he left, he seemed⦠volatile, to say the least. Maybe this was a bit much for him? He had a bloodthirsty look in his eye, the eyes of someone edged towards depravity and anger. I fear for his safety in this new world. But I have an undeniable feeling that the power he possesses will turn him towards sanity and understanding.
