gosh, of those four???

It’s a toss up between Uraraka and Shoto, honestly.

Uraraka is very bubbly and sweet.  She doesn’t have a directly offensive quirk, but uses it in a way that can cause some serious damage and provide support.  While she can be happy-go-lucky, her motivations are realistic and she has a goal that she’s thought through.  She’s a sweetheart who loves her friends dearly, thinks things through, and is just a very pleasant person to be around.  Also, her reaction to ‘I have crush?????’ is so relateable.  X’D

I’ve actually been exposed to more of Shoto’s backstory and personality through my sister before I even started watching.  (btw, my sister is the reason I’m watching. XD)  But everything I’ve seen matches up.  He’s going through a pretty big inner struggle, but it doesn’t dominate the entirety of who he is.  And since his introduction, he’s taken the part of him that he never wanted to use, realized that it’s his own and not his dad’s, and taken the necessary steps to train and use that side better despite his own personal grudges.  Dude’s got maturity for that, so much more than I’d expect of a 15 year old.  But I like seeing him interact with others--the way he gives encouragement is very down-to-earth and his advice is realistic to others.  He’s a sweetheart literal child and I love him very much.
