ohhh listen. listen. you are NOT alone in this!!! it’s not that weird, and it’s not that rare!!!

i understand the way you’re feeling though! there’s a lot of things that go through your head when you fall for someone like that!!! it doesn’t always make a whole lot of sense. you wonder why you’re attracted to them at all and you wonder if it says anything about you that you’re drawn to someone who shows real evil tendencies. i get it.

i think there are a lot of reasons why someone like that can be attractive!!! villains are usually pretty dynamic. they sort of have to be, you know? there are always reasons why they are the way that they are and why they do the things that they do (even if sometimes that reason is for no reason at all), and that’s fascinating!!! it’s fascinating to look at people like that, that are able to do things that you can’t or wouldn’t ever dream of doing and try to understand why they’re doing it.

and i think it’s really easy to fall for someone when you dig that deep to get to know them. very rarely is “evil” the only aspect of their personality. that may be a big part of it!!! but sometimes they’re funny too. sometimes they’re charming. sometimes their chaotic energy is something you wish you had in your own life because you’re a little more mellow. sometimes they’ve dealt with trauma in their past that allows you to see their vulnerability. sometimes you learn that they do have the capacity to be kind, and when they are, their kindness is exactly how you want to be treated. sometimes they are just sooo good looking.
