My old college theater group (UP TABAK-Baguio) performed for UP Tacloban students at UP Diliman over the weekend. These are the students that were transferred to Manila after typhoon Yolanda destroyed Tacloban and other parts of the South Eastern Central Philippines. They flew on a C-130! Â
It's been years since I last worked with these guys. 17 years, I think, since this particular sketch called "Iskolar ng Bayan". I miss the theater! ;D
The performance was at Kalayaan Residence Hall inside UP Diliman in Quezon City where the students are staying. We also served them dinner before the show. We'll have a final set performance/program in March before summer vacation.
