Another freakin beautiful day.

Take hope. There is always light behind the clouds. I took hope this morning from @nytimes article. Knowing there is a 77 year old man in his Delaware basement spending his days conferencing by phone and video with leaders from all sectors. Instead of lining his staff up against the wall to shoot the next scapegoat he is assembling a team to govern a nation amidst the biggest crisis anyone has known. He is NOT spending his day nursing resentments, belittling world renowned experts, settling scores, and tracking his TV ratings. That 77 year old may not embody the progressive ideals that many feel the nation deserves, but he sure as hell is a bridge in that direction. It’s been my experience that the longest lasting changes in life are those that begin with a subtle shift in direction. A pivot is better than risking capsize by turning too fast.
