Hey all, I know I’m horribly late with this update but I promise its not because I wasn’t doing something! I was I did a lot actually. So be prepared for a mega ton of pictures! So without further ado my latest update.
So that's what I got done between now and the last update. Its alot. I spent multiple nights up till 1:00am working on this or my advent and that left little time to post so sorry its late. I’ll do a brief run down of all that got done and then I’ll let you all go on scrolling!
So I stuffed all the legs which took two nearly full 16 ounce bags, and approximately 4 hours total, which included stuffing and fixing a popped seam. Then I worked on the fins which are just as much of a pain large scale as small scale. Turning the tops is the literal worse. I also left far too much of a gap for turning and stuffing so I had to ladder stitch closed a rather wide opening on both, each took about an hour to do. Then I began to sew the body. Now I’m sure you can tell from the photos that the part with the fins was not going through a sewing machine. So I spent a long long time hand sewing the fins, last night and that led me to having to play catchup on the advent this morning. I finished sewing the bottom sides and the top with the sewing machine and happened to murder another needle doing this. (Its the third to have suffered such a fate.) I turned it inside out and then sewed the tops of all the legs shut! As you can see I will not have a spacing problem for the legs this time!
