Ich habe keine Ahnung, was/wer das ist. Eine Art Kritzelei, nur zum Zeitvertreib, um über Texturen, Materialien, Strukturen nachzudenken. Aber ich bin wirklich froh über den verspielten kleinen Finger.

Da ich letzte Woche total damit beschäftigt war, zu tätowieren, anstatt Fotos von fertigen Tattoos in Österreich zu machen, hier ein kleines Geheimnis: So sieht eine Skizze aus, und so sieht ein fast fertiges Tattoo aus. Bei der nächsten Sitzung fehlen noch ein paar Farben, und in ein paar Wochen wird nachgebessert.

As I was totally busy last week tattooing instead of taking photos of done tattoos in Austria, here is a little secret: this is how a sketch looks like, and almost finished tattoo looks like. Missing some colors at the next session, and touchups in few weeks.

Das erste Bild von einem Schiff. Ich freue mich darauf, mehr am Hintergrund, dem Himmel und den Wellen zu arbeiten. Das erinnert mich an die Zeit, in der ich als Deckshelfer gearbeitet habe und wie sehr ich über diese unglaublichen hölzernen Meisterwerke gestaunt habe. Natürlich sind diese Handels / Kriegsschiffe weit von den 100-130 Jahre alten Rennsegelyachten entfernt. Wie auch immer, der Ozean macht dich klein.

First session of a ship, looking forward to work more on the background, the sky and the waves. Reminds me of the time when I used to work as a deckhand, how amazed I was by these incredible wooden masterpieces. Of course, these commercial / war ships stand far from the 100-130 years old racing sail yachts. Anyhow, the ocean makes you small.

Aufregende Neuigkeiten: Als ausstellender Künstler bei @fantasybaselofficial freue ich mich auf eine Kleingruppe-Diskussion über mein gewähltes Thema "Moral und Trends in der Tattoo- und Illustrationskunst". Messe Basel

Überflutet von Freihand-Fantasie-Blumen auf seinem Oberschenkel. Er glaubt wirklich, dass er aufhören wird zu tätowieren, dies war die letzte Sitzung. Als verantwortungsvoller Künstler und Tätowierer habe ich versucht, ihn darüber aufzuklären, dass er sich irrt. Ich werde euch auf dem Laufenden halten.

Flooded by freehand fantasy flowers on his thigh. Truly believes he is going to stop tattooing, this was the last session. As a responsible artist and tattooer I tried to enlighten him that he is wrong. I will keep you guys updated.

Dies ist ein Diprosopus-Katzenschädel (besser bekannt als Sein Vater hatte das gleiche Tattoo aus der Zeit, als er beim Militär diente. Diese #palme neben dem #grabstein ist fast die gleiche.  Der traditionelle Stil besticht durch seine Einfachheit, die klaren Linien und die starke Symbolik

His father had the same tattoo from the times he served in the military. This #palmtree is almost the same, beside the #gravestone.  Traditional style is a remarkable by it's simplicity, clean lines, and strong symbolism

Basel Old Town

Ärmel, basierend auf Tarotkarten Bildern von nicht unbedingt vorhandenen Karten. Er hatte bereits eine, wir haben vier neue gemacht: Tod, Karma, Erhängter und Kompromiss. Und natürlich freihändige Blätter. Ich bin noch nicht fertig, aber es war ein großartiger Prozess in zwei Sitzungen.

Sleeve, based on tarot  card visuals of not necessarily existing cards. He already had one, we did four new ones about Death, Karma, Hanged Man, and Compromise. And obviously freehanded leafs. Not finished yet, but it was a great process in two sessions.
