the fact that normally they set up eddie’s vulnerable talks to be with bobby but this time they chose buck. just like it would’ve made perfect sense for chimney (a paramedic) to go with eddie in 4.13 but they chose buck. just like they could have had ana bring eddie home from the hospital but they chose buck. because they want to continue developing buck and eddie’s relationship. because they want to keep strengthening it. because they want to keep bringing them closer and closer until? until????
