I want to take advantage of tumblr’s status as more of a blogging format since the social media sites I’m used to (instagram mainly lol) aren’t really conducive to that, but I don’t know what to blog about!
I’ve started a few times to write up a blog about different hot topics in the zoological world, like exhibit sizes, rehabs/releases, and collection of wild animals, but it always felt like “well, this is what I thought and this is what I’ve learned, so this is what I think now”, and I wasn’t sure that would be engaging content. 😂 Basically just an opinion piece and nothing of real value since I’m not involved in the field, just an enthusiast.
I do like sharing my “brainstorming” sessions sometimes though so it could be interesting and maybe someone else will find it interesting and share their viewpoints with me as well one day.
I could also do zoo reviews which I think could be fun! I’ve been to a lot of zoos that most people have never even heard of before so I feel like that could have real value!
I wasn’t feeling it at first but I’m actually growing to like this format, even without anyone active to follow lol.
