In the Season 3 episode "The Tholian Web," after the crew of the USS Enterprise found the USS Defiant, Captain Kirk led a boarding party to the starship where they wore their extravehicular activity suits as a precaution.

This costume consists of an original jumpsuit made of silver-color lurex fabric with colorful lurex-covered tubes on a custom-built display. The interior collar of the jumpsuit is marked "Shatner" in black ink, and features an additional hand-marked "DeForest Kelley," but it is largely illegible due to fading and ink spread. The costume was restored by Tom Spina Studios, who added high-quality helmet, boot, and glove replicas as well as replacing missing production elements with replicas.
