"Good to know, kid.” Emma held onto her son, there was nothing that could ever TEAR her from him, not after everything they’d been through. She never thought she wanted to be a mom, and then Henry came searching for her, and the rest was HISTORY. “You’ve got to stop growing up on me.” 

Regina glanced down.  She knew not to be judgemental.  He probably hadn’t meant to.  It was all a matter of circumstances and in the end he’d had to leave.  “I know, and I’m sorry for reacting like that.”  She took a small step toward him.  “I just feel like every time I love someone they leave me.”

"---Oh my God. You're in love with her." Roland can't help the grin that makes its way onto his lips as he looks at his little sister.

Green eyes danced with wicked glee, pink lips pulling into a playful pout. “Wound me up? ” It had been so long since she’d had a real challenge and the half-fae was itching for a good fight. “I think you Musketeers all bark and no bite. Care to prove me wrong?”

“So you have killed people?” Henry questioned as he dug his fork into the plate. He knew to obey his mother and eat, but he wasn’t quite ready to let the subject drop. He knew she killed people, but he didn’t really understand how many. At least she wasn’t completely denying the fact. “It may not be a nice question, but it’s nicer than killing,” he said with a shrug, finally taking a bite of the meal his mother had prepared for him.

She’d been shaking him for what seemed like forever. Until he sat up with a start, so quickly it startles her. “I’m okay.” She sits up as well, scooting a little closer. Her hands move to frame his face, a soft frown tugging at her lips. “I’m okay, baby.” She rests her forehead against his. “I’m right here. Nothing happened. I’m right here in bed with you.” She strokes her hand down the side of his face.

Emma had run off, PROTECTING people in town, and sure her father had given her the next few months off, but she felt like she still COULD be helping. When she got hurt, it was a wake up call that her pregnancy would stop her from doing what she LOVED for a while. “I love you too, Killian,” her hand laid on her small bump, barely showing if you DIDN’T know. “You won’t lose either of us.”
